Who is Pascal Hebert? Ann Hebert's husband launched West Coast Streetwear and 'transferred' it to their son Joe
Footwear manufacturing company Nike announced on Monday, March 1, the resignation of Ann Hebert, the company's vice president and general manager of the North American region. A representative at Nike claimed that Hebert chose to resign and wasn't formally dismissed.
Her resignation comes after Hebert's son, Joe, was profiled in a story by Bloomberg Businessweek's Joshua Hunt about the growing sneaker resale market. Hunt stumbled upon their relation when he received a call from a number belonging to Hebert.
A report had earlier revealed he had used a credit card in Ann’s name to purchase sneakers for his resell business, West Coast Streetwear. It said he spent more than $100,000 on the card to buy limited-edition shoes and flip them for a profit.

"I looked the name up and discovered there was an Ann Hebert who'd worked at Nike for 25 years and had recently been made its vice president and general manager for North America," he wrote. "The press release announcing her promotion noted that she would be 'instrumental in accelerating our Consumer Direct Offense'—the Nike initiative that had helped fuel the sneaker-resale boom."
The report suggested that Joe used bots to purchase the sought-after sneakers after they were released online, spending over $132,000 on the credit card to stock up on the limited-edition sneakers to resell them at a higher price on his site. Joe told Bloomberg he had never received inside information from his mother while she was at Nike.
Who is Ann Herbert's husband?
Ann Herbert is married to Pascal Herbert. One Internet user shared a series of screenshots of documents claiming how Pascal transferred the LLC (Limited liability company) of West Coast Streetwear to their son Joe. "If it isn't blatantly obvious that Nike VP Ann Hebert was involved with the mass reselling of sneakers with use of her credit card or deliveries to her home — her husband Pascal appears to have actually formed the LLC in '18, transferred to their son Joe in '19 #Nike."
Another user claimed, "Ann hebert definitely knew about it. Kid was getting huge deliveries to their home and her husband set up the llc. Not to mention the 6 figure charges on her credit card."
