Video: Female boxer Pareploy Saeaia, 25, assaults a thug who poured beer over her head
A video of a man being kicked and punched by a girl after she rejected his advances has gone viral. The girl turned out to be a Muay Thai boxer. The incident took place outside a bar in Bangkok, Thailand, where Pareploy Saeaia, 25, launched a ferocious attack on Chainarong Mareejan, 35, repeatedly fly-kicking him. Chainarong had requested Pareploy's phone number following their conversation in the early hours of Sunday morning, February 6, but she had declined.
Surveillance footage shows a spurned Chainarong strolling over to where Pareploy is sitting and nonchalantly spilling a pint of beer over her head before tossing the cup behind him. Chainarong, on the other hand, had no idea that Pareploy had been fighting in very grueling Muay Thai battles since she was 13 and had won dozens of professional national championships. Pareploy sprang out of her seat, enraged, and yelled at Chainarong to fight her "if you're so tough."

Pareploy fiercely blasted him with multiple fly kicks at his legs and punches as he walked away, before being pulled back by others during the brawl. Chainarong lost his job, the five-star Swissotel, after video of the event surfaced, and police were called in and punished both of them. The duo was compelled to apologize to each other and fined £22 (1,000 baht) each by cops, but Pareploy claims she was protecting herself.
According to Pareploy: "I was angry because he assaulted me by pouring his drink on my head. Nobody has the right to humiliate me, or anybody else, like that. I was defending myself. But then I lost control of my emotions." Chainarong was fired from a famous hotel in Bangkok's Ratchada district and has apologized for the event. He stated, "I should not have done that to the girl. It caused the confrontation so I'm sorry for that. I regret what has happened."
In a statement, the Swissotel Bangkok, Ratchada said: "We don't support the actions that were seen in the video. He is no longer our employee and we have cut all connections with him."
The matter has been closed, according to police in the city's Huai Khwang district, and no further action will be taken against individuals involved because they have both paid the punishment and apologized to each other.
