There's a lot to uncover in 'Outer Range' Season 2 Episode 2. So, let's jump in.

Perry Abbott journeys through time to find his wife

In 'Outer Range' Season 1, Perry's wife, Rebecca Abbott (Kristen Connolly), vanishes under mysterious circumstances.

In Season 2 Episode 2, Perry embarks on a journey through time, traveling back through the mysterious hole in an effort to find his wife. However, he unexpectedly encounters younger versions of his parents. This encounter not only challenges his understanding of his past but also offers him a unique perspective on his present circumstances.

Perry takes the bold step of revealing his true identity to his father, young Royal Abbott (Christian James), explaining that he has traveled from the future in search of his wife. However, Royal, who is young and unmarried at this point in time, struggles to comprehend Perry's story.

As the episode progresses, Royal begins to believe Perry's story because he himself is familiar with the concept of the hole and has used it for time travel. Royal agrees to help Perry, realizing that their fates are intertwined.

Perry and Royal may collaborate to find Perry's wife, believing she may have used the hole for time travel as well. As they delve deeper into the mysteries of the hole and its capabilities, they may uncover startling truths about the nature of time travel and its impact on their lives.

In the upcoming episode, Royal may discover startling truths about his own future from Perry. They may struggle to find Rebecca because there is a possibility that she may have never used the hole for time traveling; instead, she knowingly left Perry.

Perry could also struggle to return to his present time because the hole may have vanished, as indicated by Royal in their communication. Perry may confront the reality that he is trapped in the past, facing an uncertain future without the wife he came to find.

Is Rebecca Abbott cheating on Perry Abbott?

It seems like Perry's problems are far from over. In Season 2, Episode 2, Perry's parents, who are now older versions of themselves in the present time, are seen engaging in a conversation about Rebecca.

Cecilia confronts Royal (Josh Brolin) with a shocking revelation, Rebecca had been having an affair with Lewis Mays (William Belleau) while still married to Perry.

It seems likely that Rebecca may have left with Lewis to start a new life. It is also possible that she may have taken Amy with her and that she is not actually missing.

This revelation could be devastating for Perry, who traveled back in time specifically to find Rebecca. If he discovers that his wife has been cheating on him, it could lead him to consider drastic steps. The emotional turmoil and sense of betrayal could push him to the brink of despair.

In the upcoming episode, Perry could also try to take revenge on his wife, which could lead to further complications.

His quest for revenge could ultimately backfire, causing more harm than good and leaving Perry to deal with the aftermath of his impulsive actions.
