MIAMI, FLORIDA: An OnlyFans star, accused of taking the life of her boyfriend, was reportedly left in tears after a judge denied her plea for bail ahead of the trial on Thursday, December 8. Courtney Clenney allegedly murdered Christian Obumseli in April in their Miami apartment.

According to reports, the 26-year-old is facing second-degree murder charges. But the blonde beauty’s lawyers have claimed that she did not stab him to death intentionally but acted in self-defense and was therefore eligible for bail. Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Laura Shearon Cruz, however, ruled against their plea as the court filing read, “There is no dispute that Defendant killed Victim in this case. The only factual issue in dispute is whether Defendant was acting in self-defense and whether this claim rendered the state’s evidence doubtful.”

The filing also mentioned as reported by The New York Post that “clearly, Defendant and Victim had a sadly volatile relationship." The decision from Cruz came after she was presented with an extensive amount of evidence, apparently showing that the suspect and the 27-year-old victim were in an abusive relationship, which unfortunately ended on April 3 with the latter’s death.

There was a multitude of evidence and proof that reportedly suggested that the woman was the abusive one in the relationship and had severely hurt Obumseli numerous times before his death. The judge in her verdict reportedly stated that “from the evidence presented during this hearing, the Court does not find Defendant’s claim of self-defense on April 3, 2022, credible. Therefore, this claim does not ‘render doubtful’ the State’s case."

One such evidence against the model was a text message exchange between the pair, which revealed that Clenney had allegedly stabbed Obumseli in the leg. The October 2021 messages showed the man telling her that the injury due to the attack was so serious that he “couldn't f**king walk,” The Daily Mail reported. He then went on to say that “the next morning I still woke up happy I still gave you a good day even though my leg was hurting because my girlfriend stabbed me,” before adding, “Did I make you feel like s**t for stabbing me? No just sucked it up and hoped tomorrow will be better.”

Another alleged attack carried out by Clenney left Obumseli apparently with “a lump”. He had reportedly said in a message, “I'm bleeding. Throwing up. I think I got a mild concussion and have anxiety.” In response to that, the woman instead of feeling guilty just wrote, “I'm sorry for hitting you in the face and the back of your head and spitting on you. Is it right? No. You just Piss me [sic] tf off, but still love you.”

Most recently, just a month before his death, Obumseli had reportedly said in a message to Clenney, “Is love going to kill me? February was the worst month I had so far. I got cheated on. I got called that word again. I got slapped in my stitches that has re-opened multiple times and it’s not healing fast enough.”

Meanwhile, it has been reported that after the arrest of Clenney, who earned millions through OnlyFans, her account was closed. She is reportedly back in police custody as her murder trial is expected to begin soon.
