'Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After' on Netflix is one of the best musical plays you'll ever watch. You will enjoy the series since it is full of love, passion, and fantasy.

'Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After' follows the story of two loves, Princess Soledad and Fisherman Diego, who were tragically separated and must reunite in another lifetime to break the curse (the spell of the blue dragon) that has fallen on the strange town they reside in. The presence of two tourists will jeopardize their only chance of dispelling the enchantment. The series also shows their past life and events. Every spell has upsides and downsides, and this one is no exception. The magic makes the town cursed and the inhabitants there can never love.

In the last episode of the series, we see Princess Soledad returning to the same witch who put the spell on the blue dragon to give her the dragon back as Diego died in the war. The witch, on the other hand, refuses to take the dragon back. The spell has already done the trick and made the town cursed due to which, no one can fall in love. The town will only be set free of the curse if Soledad and Diego meet in the future and liberate the dragon together at the lake beneath the pink moon. The princess dies alone, singing to the dragon, leaving the town without the ability to love and without a monarch. Everyone thought Juana was the princess. But here's the twist: Goya is the princess.

Following the gunshots in the hotel, cops arrived and began questioning everyone. However, Maxi, who is also the fisherman Deigo, pursues Princess Juana, believing that they will be able to release the town from the curse together. At the same time, Goya, the real Soledad, has just rescued the dragon's life and is now considering releasing it because as an environmentalist, she believes the dragons must thrive, and she is unconcerned about the prophecy because she does not believe in love.

As everyone believes that Juana is Princess Soledad and Maxi is Diego, they liberate the dragon together in the hopes of freeing the town from its curse, but this does not happen because she is not the princess. Everyone's dreams are shattered as the entire town yearns for love but has yet to learn how to love. Enamora gets injured in a hotel incident, and she informs that the prophecy will only be fulfilled if Goya and Maxi free the dragon because Goya is Princess Soledad.

Despite the fact that everyone wanted Maxi and Goya to be a couple, Goya can't feel the love because she just sees him as her best friend. However, there is the twist, Maxi and Goya are Soledad and Diego from a different life with a different story. No one said that they had to be in love with each other to lift the curse. They only need to honor Diego and Soledad's eternal love and fight.

Thus, the town's curse is lifted after Goya and Maxi free the dragon together at the lake under the pink moon. There's a happy ending, but in every world, it's not always necessary for soulmates to be in love.
