SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Tech executive Nima Momeni who has been arrested over the fatal stabbing of Bob Lee is currently treated as "high-risk for suicide" at a San Francisco County Jail and his lawyer revealed he knew the victim only through his sister Khazar Elyassnia.
Talking about the suicide watch, Paula Canny, an attorney representing the suspect said, "As is a standard process in high-profile cases in San Francisco, the jail always treats it as a high-risk suicide [watch]." San Francisco police arrested Momeni on April 13, reported New York Post.

Bob Lee murder: Footage shows Nima Momeni stab CashApp founder with knife
'Bob Lee and his sister definitely knew each other'
According to the prosecutors, the evidence against the suspect suggested Lee was stabbed three times on April 4 on the streets after he and Momeni had an argument about his sister Elyassnia who is married to Dino Elyassnia, a prominent plastic surgeon. Canny said that the woman knew the victim socially. However, the 38-year-old suspect was only an acquaintance who knew Lee through his sister.
"Bob Lee and his sister definitely knew each other. There’s a group of well-to-do young people who liked to party," Canny said. The lawyer added that Momeni's arrested has "super impacted" his whole family. "His mom is super concerned about everything and heartbroken that this kind of publicity and this kind of occurrence would bring attention to her family when they’ve really spent their whole lives working hard, being good people, and being of service to other people," Canny added.
Momeni asked Lee if his sister did drugs or 'anything inappropriate'
According to the police, an unnamed witness said the alleged murderer grilled the victim asking if his sister was "doing drugs or anything inappropriate," to which Lee assured him that nothing inappropriate took place. The witness shared that it remained unclear whether Elyassnia and the CashApp founder had an "intimate relationship," reported Daily Mail.
A surveillance video from Elayssnia's apartment showed the 43-year-old victim and Momeni in an elevator together. They were seen leaving in a white vehicle and were later found standing outside of the car in an isolated area of the plush Rincon Hills neighborhood. At the time, Lee was stabbed by Momeni who used a kitchen knife.
According to Canny, though her clients had been with the victim earlier in the night of the fatal stabbing, there was no evidence of the suspect being tied to the crime scene. "He was with Bob Lee at a time that night, but the prosecutors are saying he was with Bob Lee when he was killed. I’m like, ‘OK, show me that evidence please.'," she said. "Even though they made this quick arrest, I don’t have any of the supporting documents that go with the arrest warrant," Canny added. Momeni is scheduled for his arraignment on April 25.
