Episode 8 included prodigy Pyet finding herself in the elimination round, solely because she was fixated on perfecting a potato skin garnish for her pork main course. For this very aspect, she was reprimanded by chef Ramsay. Let's hope Pyet is more careful hereon. Her relentless nature to work in order to better herself as a chef gives her a good chance at being the 'Next Level Chef'. For her "winning dish" in the elimination round, Pyet whipped up bacon-wrapped scallops.

Tricia somehow managed to skim through the individual prep round, although she tends to buckle under pressure. If she keeps getting nervous and makes an impulsive wrong call, there's no coming back. Fingers crossed!

Kenny too has a relatively high chance to sail through this difficult round. A professional chef, he always tends to think outside the box and thrives on pressure. Kenny's motivation to hustle is his four children back home, and he is determined to win the competition.

Reuel, from Trinidad and Tobago, likes to experiment with food and to represent a dish from his ethnicity. More often than not, his food does the talking. Since Reuel usually incorporates several cuisines, he might have the upper hand in the Fusion round.

We also have Angie, Mariah, and Courtney who are yet to surprise us with some groundbreaking masterpieces and leave a lasting impression. So who will it be to clear the fusion confusion? Stay tuned to find out!

'Next Level Chef' airs every Wednesday, at 9 pm ET, on Fox.
