'American traitor': Newsmax's Grant Stinchfield slammed for doubting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

'When you are a liar, you assume everybody else is a liar,' a person slamming Stinchfield tweeted

Though the whole world is talking about the Russia-Ukraine crisis, a Newsmax host has his own theory. Grant Stinchfield has been trolled online after he made remarks like Russian invasion into Ukraine “smells fishy” to him and “I don’t trust Joe Biden or anyone around him”. During a segment on ‘Stinchfield’ Wednesday evening, February 23, the news anchor started by criticizing President Joe Biden as he said, “JOE BIDEN LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING.”

He continued: “Nothing we get from this administration is true. These are the reasons why I don’t trust Joe Biden or anyone around him. This Russian invasion that they claim is well underway smells fishy to me.” Stinchfield then went on to claim that he had “predicted” that “Russia would take Ukraine with little bloodshed” and that Vladimir Putin would “roll in, just like he did in Crimea, and declare it as his.”

The host said, “Now, that could be what’s happening right now. Team Biden tells us the Russia cyberattacks have increased against Ukraine. It would make sense. But have they increased? Where’s the evidence? Guess what? We never get any evidence with Team Biden,” before stating that the Russian leader was “playing Joe Biden for the rudderless fool that he is”.

After that, Stinchfield began praising former President Donald Trump by saying the Republican “knows what’s behind Putin’s moves” while playing a clip of Trump speaking about Putin. In the video, Trump said, “I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it, I’d say ‘You can’t do it, you’re not going to do it,’ but I could see that he wanted it.” Then the Newsmax host added: “The reality is Putin knew President Trump exuded strength, it’s why he didn’t make a move. It’s why he didn’t make a move.”

Stinchfield then played another video of Trump in which he called Putin “very savvy” before giving his nod to the ex-leader’s comments and added, “that’s absolute truth; it’s fact”. He remarked, “President Trump’s 100% right. Vladimir Putin is running circles around Joe Biden. Anybody with a brain can see that. Look at what’s happening. Putin right now is winning. The media is simply covering up for Joe Biden’s weakness, that can no longer be disguised, just as his lies can no longer be believed.”

But many people do not seem to agree with Stinchfield’s views as a user slammed him by tweeting, “When you are a liar, you assume everybody else is a liar.” Another user said, “We need to shut down the American traitors. Organize. Work. Fight. They are spreading propaganda because they are well aware that all thes events threaten them with massive losses at the polls.”
