Spoilers for 'New Amsterdam' Season 4 Episode 2 'We're in This Together'

'New Amsterdam' hit the ground up and running with a scintillating start to Season 4. It was good news for fans in the form of Max Goodwin and Helen Sharpe's relationship that climbed another level and the second episode titled 'We're in This Together' saw them announce their plans to leave the medical center and move to London.

While the news came as a shocker for the staff of the hospital, it appeared that Karen Brantley (Debra Monk), the Chair of the Board of Directors at New Amsterdam, didn't take too kindly to the news. The final minutes of the episode see her called Doctor Veronica Fuentes (Michelle Forbes) to come back and rebuild the crumbling hospital. This move by Brantley garnered quite the flak by fans on social media as they felt she was out to get Helen and Max in major trouble.
