'New Amsterdam' Season 4 Episode 15: Beginning of the end for Veronica Fuentes?
'New Amsterdam' Season 4 has seen some major changes. From Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) and Helen Sharpe(Aggya Freman) moving to London, to the death of Dr Vijay Kapoor (Anupam Kher), the storylines have become more emotional and hard-hitting, Now add a certain irritant in Veronica Fuentes (played fabulously by Michelle Forbes), New Amsterdam has quite the headache to deal with. When NBC earlier hinted that he would be the character to "shake things up", not many expected she would bring about tumult to the other characters.
However, the events in the last couple of episodes have somehow managed to get Max back to New Amsterdam. He's determined to oust Fuentes and only time will tell if he can succeed. From the promo of Episode 15 set to return on February 22 (the show is currently on a break with the network covering the Winter Olympics). In what appears to be the first time this season, we see an enraged Max threatening Fuentes. It's a promising showdown, but only time will tell if it all goes the way Max plans, assuming there is a plan.

'New Amsterdam' Season 4 Episode 14: Dramatic chapter brings Max back in the picture
Max will have his work cut out. For starters, is Lauren Bloom (Janet Montgomery) out of the hospital? She was considering resignation but changed her mind following the treatment of Rohan, Dr Vijay's son who OD's and is on the verge of death. Her heart-to-heart with Helen Sharpe (Aggya Freman) about Leyla Shinwari makes her feel that the hospital needs her more than anything else. However, Fuentes ensures that her time at New Amsterdam has come to an end.
Then there's Floyd Reynolds (Jocko Sims) and Iggy (Tyler Labine) who have their own beef with Fuentes. Dr Wilder is a major trump card who can assist Max, but what exactly will be their plan. The upcoming episode hints at a major plan in the offing. The official synopsis reads, "Max formulates a bold plan to help New Amsterdam before it's too late; Reynolds and Fuentes fight over the best way to handle a risky surgery; Wilder asks Dr. Castries for help with a terminal cancer patient; Iggy helps a father and son with trauma."
