Netflix's psychological thriller 'Eric' offers a dark and intriguing narrative of a father struggling with his son's disappearance

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The newest Netflix series, 'Eric,' depicts a father struggling with the repercussions of his son's disappearance, illustrating how life frequently eludes parents who discover their child has vanished.

The series, created by Abi Morgan, is set in 1980s New York City and follows Vincent Anderson (Benedict Cumberbatch), a children's puppeteer whose life falls apart when his son, Edgar (Ivan Morris Howe), goes missing.

As the story progresses, Vincent falls into sadness and drug addiction, and he believes a huge puppet called Eric may help him locate Edgar.

Sharing the same opinion a fan said, "Benedict Cumberbatch is phenomenal in everything he does, but his work in Eric is just something else."
