What happens in 'Have a Nice Day!'?

Enrique, a retired radio personality, is still caught up in the rock and roll period and yearns for his long-lost love. The plot is rather straightforward: it tells the tale of three lives and how they are intertwined with each other. You slowly develop a very close connection with our protagonist, Enrique. You can relate to his, Nicho's and Amanda's difficulties. You want Enrique to finally meet his La Bomba after his struggles. You are therefore optimistic about the scenario as a whole when he embarks on this fated journey with Nicho and Amanda. 'Have a Nice Day!' at the end is thus just a simple story about love and hope.

'Have a Nice Day!' : Last Thoughts

The movie moves slowly and takes its time to gain momentum, like most dramas. It gives us a chance to learn more about these people and all of their varied personalities, which improves our understanding of them. As previously stated, it's a straightforward tale about love and hope—about anticipating something that gives life purpose. While Enrique goes through various scenarios, funny and serious, it feels like you are right there with him. The film does inspire hope, although there are times when you could get a little bored, especially in the first half. Some sequences drag on a little too long, and there are some parts that could have been cut. Although it's not the best, it does make you smile and entertain you most of the time.

The movie makes use of music, particularly Rock & Roll. The songs used to further the story were wonderful, entertaining, upbeat, and support what was happening in the movie effectively. The actors do a good job of playing their parts. Despite the fact that Guerrero's character initially seems to be beyond unbearable, he has the most to do in the movie and you will connect with him in some way. His development as a character is genuinely wonderful, and by the time the movie is over, you end up feeling sorry for him. Although Chaparro's character doesn't have a lot of depth while Minett's role seemed decently played.

'Have a Nice Day!' is currently streaming on Netflix
