Canadian dance troupe The Young Cast can be called the epitome of perseverance. Their journey to the semifinals of Season 4 of 'World of Dance' was anything but simple. These junior division dancers tried to come on the show many years ago, but couldn't make the cut. Rather than giving up, these young dancers worked hard and practiced harder with the hopes of someday performing on the main stage of 'World of Dance'.

When they tried out for 'World of Dance' Season 4 auditions, unfortunately once again the judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough weren't entirely convinced with the group's performance but weren't ready to let go of them either. So they were asked to return for a call-back performance. This time around, they managed to knock the socks off the judges' feet with their impressive performance and made their way to the duels round.

The same thing repeated in the duels round too. Although they gave a really good performance in the duels, unfortunately, they couldn't win it. But they caught guest judge- Twitch's eye so they managed to land a redemption performance, where they crushed their dance routine with their well-timed performance. So, the judges immediately sent the group to semifinals.

Finally, in the much-awaited semifinals performance round, The Young Cast were the opening performers. They danced their heart out to 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. The group started off pretty strong with some gravity-defying acrobats, spectacular formations, and impeccable coordination skills. The judges were left feeling impressed with the opening performers and praised them for how far they have come since the beginning of the competition and gave the group a plum 90.7 score.

While the judges loved Young Cast's performance, the fans weren't entirely impressed with the group's dance routine. Many felt that the group started off very strong with amazing dance moves, but towards the end of their performance, their routine didn't appear to impress them as much as it did at the beginning. Several fans complained that the ending of their performance wasn't as exciting as their initial moves.

A fan wrote, "A very nice performance...I'm not so sure about the ending, though. Like it fell short to me. But the waacking and locking sections are really cool." Another fan commented, "Beginning was great, ending lacked energetic enough choreo to mirror the rock music imho."

"They really stepped it up! The beginning was amazing but in the end it wasn't that good. Music choice was different but I liked it," expressed another fan. "I feel like the beginning was great but it died down at the end there," observed a fan. Another fan pointed out, "I wonder what happened. 85% of the choreo was amazing and it just switched up during the end. It didn’t hit as hard."

Unfortunately, The Young Cast couldn't make it to the final round of the 'World of Dance', as Geometrie Variable overtook them with a slightly higher score. They might have not made it to the finals, but they definitely left a great impression on the judges, especially Ne-Yo, who at the end appreciated the group for their undying spirit and passion. The group received a standing ovation from the judges, which isn't a bad way to end the journey on this highly competitive dance show!

'World of Dance' Season 4 airs every Tuesday at 10/9c only NBC.
