'She needs psychiatric help': Nancy Pelosi trolled for having priests perform an EXORCISM at home
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Nancy Pelosi was trolled on social media after her daughter revealed that she summoned priests to her San Francisco home to perform an "exorcism." The former House Speaker reportedly felt "guilty" that her husband was severely attacked by a man who was looking for her.
Alexandra said that Pelosi called priests to perform an exorcism of the house over Thanksgiving, just weeks after David DePape allegedly attacked Paul with a hammer. The suspect allegedly planned to "hold Nancy hostage” and to “break her kneecaps” if she lied during an intended interrogation.

"I think that weighed really heavy on her soul. I think she felt really guilty. I think that really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she had priests coming, trying to have an exorcism of the house and having prayer services," Alexandra told The New York Times, adding, "He’s a strong person, athletic. This has been tough. It’s going to be about three or four more months before he’s really back to normal." It's worth noting that Pelosi has referred to herself as a devout Catholic for the longest time, despite strongly advocating for abortions and opposing church teachings. The Democrat heavyweight was banned by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone from receiving Holy Communion in May 2022, “until such time as you publically repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion,” he said at the time.
Many netizens mocked the former speaker on social media after the news emerged. "I heard that Nancy Pelosi is having an exorcism at her house to rid it of demons. I wonder where she’ll live now," one tweeted. "Well. The presence of spirits and the presence of the Holy Spirit shouldn't be confused. Hopefully, the priest was able to clear that up for them," another quipped. "The only effective exorcism would be for her to leave," someone else offered. "On November 8, 2022, American voters performed an exorcism to ensure her removal as House Speaker," another joked

Catholic League President Bill Donohue urged the politician to get "help" from a psychiatrist. “The woman is positively conflicted. She wears her Catholicism on her sleeve while basically sticking her middle finger at the Catholic Church every opportunity she has," he told the New York Post. “If it’s genuine, she needs psychiatric help. And if not, it’s another example of Nancy Pelosi exploiting the Catholic Church for her own personal gain," Donohue added.

Pelosi's husband Paul was allegedly a victim of a vicious hammer attack on October 29, 2022, when DePape barged his way into the residence looking for the then-Speaker of the House. The 42-year-old perp, who bludgeoned the 82-year-old with a hammer, ended up fracturing his skull and seriously injuring his right arm and hands, which required surgery, police said. The attacker has reportedly pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse. He is scheduled to appear in court again on February 23, The Post reported.
