In a recent video shared by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, she refers to Trump as 'the former occupant of the White House'. Pelosi was talking about raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour and advocating to bring a change.

Taking to Twitter, she shared the video and wrote, "No one who works full-time in America should live in poverty. The #FightFor15 is a fight for women, for working families, and for a growing economy that benefits everyone. That’s *our* fight!"

"More than 2/3 of workers earning the minimum wage are women; disproportionately, women of color. Until we #RaiseTheWage, they can fall below the poverty line even working multiple jobs. No one should live in poverty in America - especially someone working fulltime hours & more," she added in the tweet.

In the video, she said, "We were able to pass it [FightFor15] in the House in the last Congress. But of course, the Senate with Mitch McConnell would just not bring it up and nobody thought that 'what's his name' would have signed it, the former occupant of the White House would have signed it."

Along with Pelosi, there are many who are advocating for the raise. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock tweeted, "The minimum wage hasn’t increased in more than a decade. That’s why we need to raise it to $15/hour."

Social media campaigning is underway even as there is doubt surrounding it. According to a Congressional Budget Office report released on Monday, raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour, as President Joe Biden has proposed, would cost 1.4 million jobs over the next four years while lifting 900,000 people out of poverty.

In the midst of all this, many social media users couldn't help but point out that Pelosi referred to the ex-President as 'the former occupant of the White House' and even had to ask 'what's his name'.

And many users took to share angry messages to her on Twitter. "You are so venomous in your hatred that you have no sense of decorum or decency. You tore The State of the Union to shreds and now are referring to Trump as "What's his name! Who the hell do you think you are? You are ridiculous! Your tantrums and your nastiness are as old as you! Step down Mrs Pelosi," a very angry user tweeted in part.

Many asked her why she couldn't remember the name of the one person she apparently criticizes all the time. "@SpeakerPelosi “What’s his name” YOU freaking eat, sleep and wake up with PRESIDENT TRUMP on your mind and you want to say “what’s his name” your a flipping NUT JOB."

By calling Donald Trump 'the former occupant of the White House', it looks like Pelosi had joined President Joe Biden, who during his first town hall as president referred to him as 'the former guy'.

On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Biden answered host Anderson Cooper's question about his commitment to passing a $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill. "Remember you and I talking during the campaign, that you had the former guy saying that well, you know, we just can open things up, that’s all we need to do," he had said then.
