Where is Mount Clitoris? Funny mountain name on Google Maps has Internet in splits

One user joked, 'Guide: 'If you just look over this way, you’ll find Mount Clitoris!' Men: 'Where?'"

Google Maps fans have spotted a mountain with a hilarious name -- Mount Clitoris. Social media is in stitches after they discovered that the mountain shares its name with the part of a woman's genitals. Travel My Globe says that Mount Clitoris is a "hidden gem tucked away waiting to be explored."

Where is Mount Clitoris?

Mount Clitoris is located about 167 miles (270km) north of the capital Manila, and is a very popular hiking spot. Mount Clitoris was formerly known as Mount Mogao, and it rises serene above a peaceful Barangay Cagubatan in Tadian, Mountain Province, which is also known to be home to enchanted eels. 

Social media has expressed its delight after spotting Mount Clitoris on Google Maps. "Guide: “If you just look over this way, you’ll find Mount Clitoris!” Men: “Where?” one user joked on Twitter. "Me making my way to Mount Clitoris," wrote another user, with a funny GIF of a man struggling to find something.

"However, Google Maps DID find Mount Clitoris," one user wrote while another wrote, "According to Google maps, Mount Clitoris is in the Philippines. Is that where you left it? What do I win for finding it?" Posting a GIF, one user wrote, "THIS ME DOIN THE "BEAT IT UP RIGHT" DANCE AFTER CLIMBIN TO THE TOP OF MOUNT CLITORIS."

"I'm off to make the slow, careful climb up Mount Clitoris. Wish me luck," wrote one user. "Mount Clitoris is situated in Philippines, very hard to find apparently, so hard to find that you did not know that it really exists and that you can find Clitoris by using Maps apps. No need to thank me ladies... and guys," a user wrote, amd amother wrote, "There's a mount clitoris in the Ifugao province? Ok let's let that simmer for a bit. They couldn't find a better name? Hmm".

Last week, Google Maps fans had found a cornfield maze in Arizona which, according to some, was left there by aliens. Satellite images of the location show how intertwining lines form a message when viewed from above -- "healthcare heroes". The message is accompanied by a heart along with a cross in the middle. As per claims, the pattern and the message are changed by the Andelin family each year on their five-acre patch of land. The "healthcare heroes" message is reportedly from last year, and has been changed since then.
