‘Money Heist’ has been a show filled with twists and turns and most of the times viewers don’t even see it coming. Just like the death of Nairobi or Raquel joining the heist team, there have been several moments when something unexpected takes place and we keep on wondering as to how did this happen.

And I must tell you that the ending of Season 5 Episode 8 will make you go bonkers. During the episode, we see that police have found that there is a strange sound coming in from the vault. They recognize the sound and believe some kind of suction is taking place in one of the vaults. They get an idea that they are transferring the gold somewhere else. The police see the map and identify a handful number of places where the gold could have been transferred. The last place they had on the list was Stormwater Tank.

'Money Heist' Season 5 Episode 7: Alicia finally TEAM HEIST as Heist almost comes to an end

After seeing almost every place, police head out toward the Stormwater Tank and split in two. One team sees the main part of the facility while the other sees the bunker of that facility. Marseille sees police vans approaching the facility and they all get ready to defend themselves. However, Professor says that he won’t let this turn into a massacre and tells them to drop the weapons. An altercation takes place between him and Marseille, but they drop their weapons as police take them into custody.

We go into the flashback where Professor asks Palermo about what happens if Police were waiting on the other side. Palermo says that there are two parts of the facility and they are going to transfer through a place that doesn’t go through the main part of the facility. So, they just made a fool out of the police because the map only shows them the pipes leading to the main part and not the bunkers. But who took Professor and Alicia into the custody of police never reached them?

Professor, Alicia, Benjamin, and Marseille are sitting in the police van, but their van isn’t moving. Professor realizes that and says why aren’t they moving? Alicia also says that police would have taken into custody and taken them to their place in no time. Professor and Marseille break the door of the van and to their horror, see that the GOLD has been STOLEN.

The episode ends by showing that two people are dressed in police uniforms and two people are accompanying all the gold in the truck. They open their masks and it turns out that it was Berlin’s son RAFAEL who stole the gold from Professor. Is this a part of the plan? Did Palermo, Berlin know about this? Or Rafael just wanted to have fun by taking the gold because he has the genes of his father.

The final two episodes are going to be epic and we’ll get to know if Rafael was always part of the plan or not.
