Contains spoilers for 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area' Episode 4
The police and Seon have screwed everything for themselves and the episode starts with the confirmation that Cho, director of the mint, has been shot by the police. Also, things have started to go a little off the track with the heist team as well because they didn’t think that so many people will be getting injured and someone might lose his or her life as well.
Cho is brought inside and all he wants to do is to talk to his wife before he dies. But the rest of the heist team assures him that he is going to live and they will save him. We go into a flashback where we see the Professor telling everyone that they need to know about human anatomy in case someone gets injured. No one has prior experience, except Rio, who was a medical student before dropping out of the med school. However, he refuses to do this and says that he will only do what he is brought in for.

Meanwhile, in the present scenario, Cho talks to his wife and says that he loves her and their children too. The Professor calls Seon and accuses her of making things complicated by shooting the director. He gives them permission to send in a medical team for the director’s surgery and that’s when they make a plan that Cha, captain of the North Korean army, will be going inside the mint with the medic team and giving them the info about what’s happening inside. However, their actual plan is that he’ll distract them and army personnel will enter the mint from the roof.
The medic team enters the mind and Professor immediately gets to know that Cha is a police officer because he saw him when he visited Seon a few hours before. He lets Berlin know about it and Cha gets thoroughly checked. His glasses have a camera in them and Seon can see everything that’s happening inside the mint. The medic team starts the surgery while Cha helps them, but Berlin tells Cha to do the surgery instead of the surgeon because his hands were trembling. Captain Cha reveals his true identity and says that his mission is to bring the medic team out of the mint safely. Berlin accepts that reason and allows the surgeon to do the surgery. The bullet gets out, but Professor is still skeptical that something will happen.
He calls Rio and tells him something and then Rio tells the same to Berlin. The police’s plan was to send a team of soldiers in the same red jumpsuit and mask so that they will mix up with the hostages. However, Professor had already planned everything and turned the game by changing the masks of the hostages and the heist team members. By doing that, they’ll know that the people with Hahoetal masks are from outside and have come here to foil their plans. Cha is devastated by that and as soon as he is outside, he tells everyone to abort the mission.
The soldiers come outside, however, one brave soldier decides to stay back and hide from the heist team. Even though the Professor is in complete control of the game, he doesn’t know something dangerous is coming and that might change the course of the entire plan.
