'Miss Universe' 2019: Air time, date, judges, and everything you need to know about the 68th edition of the beauty pageant

90 contestants from different countries of the world will be participating in the competition. Later, 20 of them will be shortlisted for the next round.

The  68th edition of the Miss Universe will be held on December 8, 2019 at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. The competition will bring 90 contestants who hail from different countries on one stage where each of them will be representing their country to the best of their knowledge. 

The contestants will get a chance to showcase their talents, their aspirations in the competition which will allow the panel to choose who deserves to be crowned as Miss Universe 2019. 20 semi-finalists will be chosen from a pool of 90 contestants. 

After a long time, the competition is bringing back online voting and would allow the viewers to be active participants in selecting who deserves to be in the top 20. 

Air Time and Network

The competition airs LIVE from Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, December 8 at 7/6c on FOX. 

Host 

Steve Harvey will be back as the host for the event. Despite the 2015 mishap where he announced the wrong winner the comedian is all set to take the stage and undo his past mistakes. 

Contestants and Selection Committee

90 contestants from different countries of the world will be participating in the competition. Later, 20 of them will be shortlisted for the next round. The viewers will get a chance to choose their pick as online voting will be open for this edition of Miss Universe. 

The selection committee will consist of Gaby Espino, a Venezuelan actress, Sazan Hendrix, an American businesswoman and social media personality, Riyo Mori, who was crowned as Miss Universe 2007 from Japan, Cara Mund, Miss America 2018, Bozoma Saint John, American businesswoman, and marketing executive, Crystle Stewart, American actress and Miss USA 2008, and Paulina Vega, Miss Universe 2014 from Colombia.
