Who is Pasha Pai? Social media star Milana Makhanets, 8, is dating a 13-year-old boy with her mom's blessing
Milana Makhanets, a social media star with a huge following on Lykee, a TikTok-style platform popular with Russian and Ukrainian kids, is reportedly dating a 13-year-old Ukrainian influencer Pasha Pai. Milana has seven million followers on the Singaporean video-sharing app and over half a million followers on Instagram.
While Milana's account has not many posts with Pasha, his Instagram feed is filled with pictures of her. The reason their relationship has shocked many is not only the fact that she is eight years old and he is also a minor at 13-years-old. Turns out Milana's mother is also aware of the relationship between the two. In fact, she is also the one who handles Milana's social media pages. This has caused a furor among many on the social media pages as many have compared this to child pornography, especially certain pictures posted by Pasha on his page.

From posting a picture of the two of them together where Milana is seen sitting on his lap, to a picture posted by Pasha where she is seen brushing her teeth in her underwear, some of the pictures are considered inappropriate. These pictures have now been deleted. Screenshots of certain images are still available on social networking sites as they were shared by fans of both Pasha and Milana.
Ukrainian journalist and former politician Igor Mosiychuk was quoted as saying, "All this promotion on Mila and Pasha’s social networks is very, very close to child pornography and is a breeding ground, which, like honey, attracts and stimulates pedophiles to act.” Milana also works as a model for kids fashion labels which have added to her fan following.
The post in which Milana had revealed that she was now in a relationship with Pasha has been reportedly deleted, however, she had confessed to dating the 13-year-old blogger apparently living in Moscow. It was also reported that the relationship between Milana and Pasha may have gained mainstream attention only now, but the two have been together for a while. There are also claims that the two have previously posted Instagram stories of kissing each other and sleeping on the same bed.
As Darya is the one who handles the social media accounts, she also happens to be the one to bear the brunt of the backlash. Yet, she did not seem to have much problem as she wrote on her personal handle, "this is their life, and they will figure it out on their own."
