Who is Michael Barajas? Man who held woman hostage for weeks threatened to 'rip out her throat' with teeth

GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN: Horrifying details have come to light regarding a 36-year-old man who allegedly sharpened his teeth into fangs and threatened to bite his victim after grooming, isolating her within a home, and sexually assaulting her over the course of three weeks. Following the weeks-long incident involving a 22-year-old woman, Michael Barajas was taken into custody, according to Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson.
During the week of Thanksgiving, Barajas approached the victim while driving down a Michigan street. She had recently been kicked out of her house, so he allegedly offered her food, warmth, and a shower. But when the woman entered Barajas' house, he allegedly locked her inside. According to Swanson, the windows were bolted shut and locks were installed on the doors, according to a report by WNEM.

Swanson said that the victim was held inside a room and tied to a bed before being sexually assaulted and trafficked by many people. Barajas threatened the victim that if she would not do what he instructed, he would bite her neck and rip out her throat with his filed-down teeth.
Three times the victim tried to get away. She was shot at and hauled back to the house after the first time she tried to flee from an open door. The second time she attempted to leave, she was dragged back inside. The victim apparently experienced a medical emergency the third time. Nurses at Hurley Medical Center treated her and discovered that she had been abused, as reported by The US Sun.
On December 8, the nurses contacted GHOST, the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team. The same day, Barajas was arrested and charged on December 11. He is being held on a $245,000 bond and is accused of several offenses such as human trafficking, kidnapping, assault, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and possession of methamphetamine. Barajas is scheduled to appear in court again on December 22, 2022.
MEAWW recently reported a similar kind of incident where a 54-year-old man is wanted in connection with a serious sexual assault that took place in Orlando on Saturday, December 10. Authorities in Florida are searching for Bruce Whitehead, a registered sex offender, in connection with a terrible rape case where they say the victim was mutilated.
Whitehead has the word "Sacrifice" tattooed on his face. He is wanted for interrogation and has been referred to as a "brutal rapist." A redacted incident report obtained by ClickOrlando claims that Whitehead approached the woman when she was out strolling close to a strip club along Pine Hills Road near North Lane.
