Melania Trump celebrates son Barron's 15th birthday with black balloons, Internet says 'Looks evil AF'
Barron Trump just turned 15 and his mother Melania Trump celebrated this milestone on social media with a picture of balloons, like she does every year. It's a tradition for the proud mom to celebrate her teenage son's birthdays with numbered-balloons, but this time, there was something odd that social media users noticed.
On Saturday, March 20, the former FLOTUS took to Twitter to mark her and her husband, former President Donald Trump's only child a happy 15th birthday. "Happy birthday BWT," she wrote, adding three red heart emojis. The BWT stands for her son's birth name, "Barron William Trump". There were the signature balloons saying 15, but they were black. While chic, it was a striking contrast with last year's shocking silver balloons with the number 14 for her son's birthday.

'Where is Barron Trump?' Internet asks as Donald Trump and Melania leave White House for Mar-a-Lago
Born in Manhattan, Barron has enjoyed somewhat of a private life unlike Trump's other children from his previous marriages. All of 10 at the time of his father's 2016 US Presidential election win, Barron made headlines when he couldn't keep his eyes open during the acceptance speech which happened around 3 am ET. Through the years, however, he has grown tall enough to tower over his own father at 6'3". But while the Internet loves his current haircut and style, they never quite approve of his mother's taste. This includes the latest 'black birthday balloons' post.
Flocking to Twitter, users had a field day poking fun at the depressing birthday balloons. "Melanie dear, you could have found a more cheerful pic. This looks quite morbid, but perhaps that’s how you/he feels," one tweet commented. "How festive! Nothing quite says Happy Birthday to a 15 year old quite like a black balloon that appears to be dripping blood. But then...#BeBest never really made it either," mocked another. "Wow....that is a very dark meme for a birthday. Very bad vibe to it," a third user wrote. Another one noted: "Even the birthday picture is all dark sepia tones, very strange lol."

Users couldn't help but point out the 'creepy' factor. One tweet said: "Creepy!! Black balloons for a 15 year old?? Poor child. That dark world you live in must be so cold but I do wish you a Happy birthday!! Hope it is a great day!!" while another said: "It is super creepy. I first thought it said is, which seemed foreboding. Nothing like ominous black balloons to celebrate a birthday."
Some drew the obvious reference and called the balloons "Super Adam’s Familyish...." The unique font that looked like dripping blood also attracted attention. "why did I think this was some creepy font with blood drips or something. Damn...this is the most horrific happy birthday I've ever seen! Looks evil AF. LOL!!!" said one user. "The use of this graphic is intentionally designed to pull out all the hateful comments she (he or they) knew would come from Twitter land, probably have fingers crossed it will become a national news story, or at least be on TMZ. Classic Trump move and so many people fall 4 it," remarked another tweet.
