NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A former White House employee has claimed that although Melania Trump is furious about Donald Trump's reported affairs, she "lives in an ivory tower of denial" and uses her stony silence as "armor" against them.

Aside from missing Trump's speech in Mar-a-Lago ballroom after his indictment, Melania, 52, was also not by her husband's side when he turned himself in for his arraignment on Tuesday in New York City.

Stephanie Wolkoff Winston, a former aide, has since added her own perspective on their union. Her claims came to light after  she provided unique details about the Trumps' much-discussed marriage following Trump's indictment, as reported by DailyMail.

Karen McDougal takes subtle dig at Donald Trump after alleged $150K hush money over their affair

Melania, according to Wolkoff, is indeed angry that the Stormy Daniels affair allegations have come up again. In February 2018, after Wolkoff left the White House, Melania severed her relationship with her.

Despite this, Wolkoff asserted in a recent interview with Page Six that Melania will never separate from the former president. Trump was in New York City to defend himself against allegations that he gave hush money to Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels, two alleged mistresses.

'I don't think Melania is humiliated by his affairs'

Wolkoff said, "Of course she knows about Donald's affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity. She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I don't think Melania is humiliated by his affairs – but she is angry."

Wolkoff assisted in organizing Trump's inauguration and afterwards served as an unpaid consultant in the White House. Later, she published a book about her relationship with Melania. According to Wolkoff, she did not expect to see Melania standing by her husband. She said, "Her silence is deliberate, it is her weapon of choice and her protective armor."

'Her means of survival is to just act like it never happened'

The former aide said, "Still she isn't leaving him. This is a transactional marriage, she knew what she was getting into when she married Donald. Her means of survival is to just act like it never happened."

Melania, a native of Slovenia, is quoted by Wolkoff as saying that her detractors are "jealous" and that she "hoped the Stormy Daniels scandal would be swept under the carpet," as reported by DailyMail.

'I predict we will see her back at his side at the next social event at Mar-a-Lago'

According to Wolkoff, "Her way of coping is to never let her feelings show or affect her. I predict we will see her back at his side at the next social event at Mar-a-Lago."

Wolkoff added that Melania doesn't want to put herself in the position of having to defend herself to anyone.
