Joy Behar is still beefing with Meghan McCain despite no longer working together. The 79-year-old co-host of 'The View' appeared to "troll" her former colleague over her Valentine's Day photo.

McCain, 37, and Behar, 79, have previously sparred on-air over unfounded allegations against Rep. Matt Gaetz for sex trafficking, former President Donald J. Trump's 2020 campaign, as well as comments made by Rep. Marjorie Greene comparing mask mandates to the Holocaust. The former co-hosts had their latest feud on Monday, February 14, shortly after McCain shared a sweet Valentine's Day post with her husband Ben Domenech.

"Happy Valentines Day @bdomenech – I love you and am grateful every day for the life we have together," McCain wrote while sharing a photo with her husband. This didn't go well with an online critic, who wrote, "Does every thought and sentiment need to be on Twitter?" This prompted Behar to chime in out of nowhere, commenting, "Apparently." Behar has since deleted her response, but McCain was quick to screengrab it. "Imagine spending your Valentine's Day trolling your ex-colleague's tweet about her husband," McCain wrote while sharing screenshots of Behar's tweet.

Fox News co-host and weather anchor Janice Dean tweeted at McCain that Behar "can't quit you." The daughter of the late Sen. John McCain responded by calling her former colleague's action "pathetic" and that it "creeps me out." She also likened exiting 'The View' to "having ex's who won't stop drunk texting you." McCain has since deleted that post.

In July last year, McCain announced her departure from the ABC show citing her life in Washington DC with 40-year-old Domenech and their daughter Liberty as a reason. She was involved in several arguments with her co-hosts before her exit. When McCain returned to the show from her maternity leave in January 2021, Behar said she "didn't miss" her while she was away.

"I think they liked not having me," McCain told People in October. "I think they liked not having someone who would fight with them or give an unpopular opinion." She said the on-air comment made her feel "very insecure" and caused her to have a panic attack. "Being told that to my face on national television shocked me and cut me deep. I cried for days," she explained. "She's supposed to be my friend and it's supposed to be a sisterhood. I'll never forget. I went back to my office and I had a panic attack. I was crying. I was hyperventilating. I threw up," she added.

McCain admitted in her new memoir 'Bad Republican' that she left the show because it triggered her "postpartum anxiety." She wrote, "In my four years there, I was the target of plenty of shade -- too much to even begin to recount -- and then I also experienced more toxic, direct, and purposeful hostility." Speaking of former co-host Whoopi Goldberg, McCain said, "She had made a promise to my father that she would look after me, and she kept her word for the first two years that I was on the show." She added, "The thing about Whoopi, though, is that she yields so much power in culture and television, and once she turns on you, it can create unfathomable tension at the table. I found her open disdain for me more and more difficult to manage as the years went on and it became more frequent."
