LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The first-ever 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner is getting married to Theresa Nist in 'The Golden Wedding' episode set to air on January 4, 2024, at 8/7c. The wedding planner for the televised grand wedding is Mindy Weiss.
Mindy Weiss is an award-winning event planner with almost three decades of experience. Mindy is known for planning private birthday parties and marriage ceremonies with top clients such as Kris Jenner and the Kardashian family.
Brides Magazine included Mindy Weiss Party Consultants in the 2022 list of Best Planners, the 2020 Elle International Bridal Awards recognized Mindy as the Best Wedding Planner. She is also the author of several books about the wedding process and also owns a product line of wedding items, including rhinestones shoes, and candles.
Mindy grew up in Los Angeles, California where her parents threw various themed birthday parties for her. After college, Mindy worked at a stationery shop that designed creative stationery and custom wedding invitations. Mindy then opened her own custom wedding invitation business before clients asked her to take up event planning.
Her first event was a seventy-fifth birthday party for a family friend. After that, she became quite popular. In 1992 she founded the Mindy Weiss Party Consultants.
Her client list is a thrill to watch ranging from Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Kris Jenner, and the entire Kardashian family. She is also known for planning corporate parties such as Stormi, Kylie Cosmetics, Poosh, and Shutterfly.
Her books are 'The Wedding Book', 'The Wedding Planner', 'The Baby Keepsake Book and Planner', 'Goldie the handpicked flower girl' and 'Jack Bring the Rings'.

Jen also revealed she is currently working on her maid of honor speech and her mother's vows.
Jen owns a 1971 Volkswagen bus that she transformed into a photo booth, but sadly the vehicle will not make its way to the wedding across the country. She also plans on bringing a few mobile bars but it's a huge task.
She will be standing alongside her mother as a maid of honor at the altar while her sister-in-law and Gerry's daughters will be bridesmaids. They will be wearing different dresses but will be a steady part of the event as a bridesmaid.

'The Golden Bachelor' host Jesse Palmer announced at the end of the season finale that there will be a 'The Golden Wedding' and revealed that the wedding will be live on ABC. The cast of 'The Golden Bachelor' will be a part of this.
The host Jesse Palmer, a Canadian TV presenter, sports commentator, and professional football player, also announced that the couple will be sent on a trip to Italy after the marriage.
Jesse Palmer is also expected to be the host for 'The Golden Wedding'. However, it is unknown whether he will officiate the wedding or not.
