Whitney Way Thore opened up about battling an eating disorder on Tuesday, January 26, night's episode. For quite some time during the course of the current season on the air, she has spoken about wanting to get surgery. Her ex-fiance Chase Severino's infidelity had impacted her in the worst way possible and even though she decided to move on and get back into the dating world, all the fat-shaming directed her way on those portals left her even more disappointed in herself.

The otherwise confident reality star broke down when it came to nasty messages online and the prospect of never finding a husband and started discussing weight loss surgery with those close to her. It started with Buddy Bell, her best friend and quarantine husband, as she refers to him.

He didn't support her thoughts and neither did her other close friends. She also spoke to her parents about it and while doing so, revealed that she is in the pre-diabetic range and has high stress and that she was dealing with an ED.

Barbara and Glenn Thore didn't think it was safe for Whitney to go through with the surgery but were also aware that her being that size and also being in the pre-diabetic range was dangerous and that surgery might help her.

Whitney consulted Dr Bowen about the surgery and spoke about not having a great relationship with food since the time she was 11 and asked for treatment to get the condition fixed. They also discussed the pros and cons of lap band surgery, the risks involved as well as the benefits.

Fans watching the episode want Whitney to straight away consult Dr Nowzaradan aka Dr Now from 'My 600-lb Life' and from the way the story has been building, a 'My 600-lb Life' and 'MBFFL' crossover cannot be ruled out.

"Please God let Dr Now be on this show #MyBigFatFabLife" tweeted a fan. "I smell a crossover show with Dr Now #MyBigFatFabLife meets #600lblife" read another tweet. "When will Whitney do a season with Dr Now? #MyBigFatFabulousLife #MyBigFatFabLife" asked another. "We need Dr Now stat! He won’t go for Whitney’s crying and pity party. Dr Now and Jessica could get her thinking straight #MyBigFatFabLife" tweeted another fan.
