'The Masked Singer' Season 3: Frog defeats powerhouse vocalist Kitty with showmanship and killer dance moves

Though the Frog doesn't have a great singing voice as compared to Kitty, he won the audiences with his performance

Powerhouse performer Frog and powerhouse vocalist Kitty were going head to head against each other in the first faceoff. In a pre-taped video, Kitty was heard mentioning that everyone has been really "battle-y" in the show and she is trying to take a different approach and is about to "kill with kindness".

While her opponent, Frog, mentioned that the reason he brings so much energy to 'The Masked Singer' stage is because he is aware that his voice is not as good as his opponent who is an amazing singer and that has brought out the competitive side in him. He also mentioned that everyone should look out for him as he's ready to bring "fire" to the stage during the episode and he did exactly that.

After featuring a sing-along episode last week that left the viewers disappointed, 'The Masked Singer' returned tonight with the faceoff round with Kitty, Frog, Banana and Rhino. Sharon Osbourne was the guest judge this week.

For the faceoff performance, he sang 'Fireball' by Pitbull and his dance moves made everyone, including the judges, dance along with him.

After his performance, Nicole exclaimed, "All I have to say is, that performance was lit!" Guest judge Sharon mentioned, "I think you are a great showman, your dance moves are so smooth! What are you doing later? How are you so smooth?

Kat Williams, O'Shea Jackson and Alfonso Rebeiro were the names that came up for the identity of the celebrity under the Frog's mask.

It was time for Kitty to take the stage and she sang 'True Colors' by Cyndi Lauper. Unlike her competitor who supported his performance with crazy dance moves, Kitty just decided to show off her amazing chords for the performance.

Robin Thicke commended her for relying on her musical strengths for the performance and he thought it was amazing. Jenny McCarthy guessed it might be Vanessa Hudgens as she has been seeing a lot of 'High School Musical' clues in the clue packages and today she picked up on 'Grease' from Kitty's conversation. Emma Roberts and Kate Bosworth were other names that popped up at the judges' table for their guess of the celebrity under the mask.

At the end of both performances, it was time for the studio audiences to vote and Frog won against Kitty and the latter was about to head to a final showdown at the end of the episode and sing her heart out in order to stay in the show.
