Warning: Graphic content
Marina Kokhal's story had once shocked the world for its ultra gory nature and unprecedented violence. The 37-year-old woman reportedly murdered her own husband, rapper Andy Cartwright aka Alexander Yushko (real name), and went on a psychopathic murder spree where she fed his body to the rats, drank his blood and put his organs in a washing machine. The Russian-Ukrainian rapper's body was dismembered and chopped for a period of four days during which Kokhal used a hacksaw and a knife to achieve the purpose.
The Russian woman was arrested in August 2020 and since then she had pleaded not guilty to the murder, though she admitted to dismembering his body over four days. Kokhal remains the prime suspect in the case till date and is believed to have killed Cartwright over his extra-marital affair. However, top Russian forensic experts failed to provide substantial evidence to provide that Kokhal poisoned the rapper with intention to kill him, in collusion with her 68-year-old mother Elena Kokhal. Now, Kokhal has been released from custody to reunite with her and Cartwright's young son.

Kokhal, who shares a 4-year-old son with the late rapper, was found smiling upon release. It is being speculated that she was relieved to meet her child after nearly a year.
Nevertheless, Kokhal is suspected of committing one of the most well-planned and gruesome murders in history. She reportedly bought a hard-to-trace insulin substitute, which she administered as an overdose to her husband. Then she went on to chop his lifeless body as she fed the fingertips to rats and put some of the parts in her fridge. Cops are even of the opinion that she allegedly had sex with her dead husband's body before throwing his organs into the washing machine. His stomach, pancreas, esophagus, gall bladder, intestines and other body parts were recovered from the washing machine and fridge. Some parts were also located in bin liners. Surfaces and utensils were washed with vinegar to remove evidence.
Cartwright had an affair with his fan Nadia Romanenko, 25, which seemed to have prompted Kokhal to commit the horrific crime. Investigators claimed to have evidence pointing toward a pre-planned murder by the suspect. She is suspected to have suffoocated him and later bought an ultraviolet lamp to make sure traces of the crime.
Obsessed with murder and serial killing, Kokhal even maintained a YouTube channel with shocking video titles like "Congenital aggression. Serial killers” and “When you know your husband's mistress personally". Cartwright's mistress Nadia Romanenko had shared, "Our sexual relations took place at my apartment. I specially rented a flat near his apartment block. We met every day, and Kokhal did not know about it." But soon after she discovered about his affair, she took steps to put an end to the same.
