'Manifest' Season 4 Part 1 on Netflix: 4 biggest mysteries left to explore in Part 2
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has been releasing some of the best supernatural Drama series, and one of them is 'Manifest'. The show was initially run by NBC, but as the production company dropped the series by the end of Season 3, Netflix picked it up and now all the seasons are available to watch on the streaming platform. The best element about shows like 'Manifest' is that even though it leaves the audience with a real cliffhanger, it also gives them room to have speculation and makes the entire experience like a game of Sherlock Holmes.
Part 1 of 'Manifest' Season 4 just got over, and even though the show answered many important questions, in return it allowed the audience to chew on some mysteries that will come back with the second half of Season 4. In the process of answering some questions, we have some new mysteries that need to be thought over, like the callings, the entity behind everything, and what the passengers are supposed to do with the answers they've been given.

'Manifest' Season 4: Cal's abnormal growth could help him escape the Registry and save the planet
Let's dive into 4 of the most interesting mysteries we think would have major relevance in the upcoming second part of Season 4.
1. Why did Cal age?
The major mystery has been there since the beginning of Season 4 when the show delivered a shocking change to the status quo by aging Jack Messina's character by five years and replacing him with Ty Doran. However, Cal was the only one to age. The shocking part is that the question of his age comes up now and then in the series and hangs in the air, but nobody has come close to figuring it out. After the Season 3 finale, it seemed like an older Cal came back from the future or vice versa, but it was suggested in the series that Cal was in the divine consciousness for mere minutes. But, somehow, every passenger believed that being in the divine consciousness, no matter the period, ended up making Cal 5 years older. The fact that the mystery isn't brought up to a higher notion makes it more dependent on the show's future and how things turn out.
2. What happened to Cal in the divine consciousness?
Divine consciousness in the show is the 'higher good' that seems to poke at the existence of God. When Cal touched the tailfin, he was brought back to the divine consciousness where he came across Captain Daly and Fiona. The three are seen having a conversation, where Captain Daly tells Cal that Grace has died and there was nothing they could do to save her. They continued the conversation with Captain Daly saying, "if you’ll go, you’ll forget everything you now know" These words are a hint at something that is going to happen in Part 2 of Season 4. The conversation holds some sort of meaning and will be used to attach it to a conclusion in the upcoming episodes.
3. Who or what causes the apocalypse?
For years, the Fight 828 passengers have acted under the assumption that each and every one of them will lose their lives when the Death Date comes on June 2, 2024. But it was realized in Season 4 Part 1 that Death Date is actually the apocalypse. Although it is unclear how the disaster would take place and what kind of disaster it would be, it is clear that Angelina is responsible for the catastrophe. Angelina already saw the apocalypse happening because of her abuse of the Omega Sapphire’s powers. But, the passengers have to realize that Angelina has everything it takes to create an apocalypse and that they have to come together to stop her.
4. Why does Eden get the callings?
As Eden is the daughter of Grace, who was a Flight 828 passenger, that can also be ticked off as the reason for her callings. She might have inherited it genetically through her mother. But, the whole idea of genetic inheritance seems off here and doesn't sit correctly. The second assumption, which is much more believable, is that the Divine directly communicates with Eden and gives her the Callings without making her disappear.
