A shocking incident caught on camera sees a man drag a dog owner by a leash after it the person's pet was reportedly abused. Identified as Tashawn Rodriguez, the man allegedly walked past the dog owner and saw him yanking his pitbull "for three blocks against his will" with a "choker chain" around the dog's neck. In an attempt to teach the owner a lesson, Rodriguez put the dog's leash around the man's neck and violently yanked him the same way he was seen pulling the pitbull.

News of this comes amidst a spate of dog abuse reports, especially with K-9 dogs seen treated with excessive force by cops in incidents that police authorities claim are a normal part of the training procedure. Police are also on the lookout for another kind of dog abuser, who would use his pet to lure little girls into his home. Another mom tried to shoot a dog that had run off to the street while she and her family were cycling. The Houston mother was arrested after the shot meant for the dog, ricocheted and hit her five-year-old son instead.

Sharing a video of the entire incident on Twitter on June 28, Rodriguez captioned it: "When you drag a beautiful pitbull for three blocks against his will [and] walk past another fellow pitbull owner with no explanation .... KARMA!" In the video tweeted by Rodriguez under the username @Str8CashTwist_, the dog owner can be seen standing, as he faces the camera with the dog leash around his neck. Rodriguez can then be seen giving the leash one quick pull which sends the man flying to the pavement. Rodriguez then yanks the chain on the leash, dragging the man on his back, and stoops only to slap him in the face. He then drags the man to the middle of the road and kicks him in the ribs before walking away from the scene.

"I got a dog, bro," Rodriguez's voice can be heard in the video, shouting at the dog owner. "Like f*****g dragging dogs?" he asks, adding: "That's what you did!" The Brooklyn-based rapper who goes by the stage name Str8CashTWIST, also set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the dog he claimed was being abused. "Hey guys, I started this fundraiser for food and supplies towards a dog I recently seen treated badly and defended," the description on the fundraiser page claims. Rodriguez then claims the owner is unable to take care of the dog as he is in "bad shape" and "out of work."

Alongside a photo of the pitbull, the rapper continued in the description: "We're around everyday doing check ups and making sure he's fed [and] walked (normally) daily. Below is a picture of him the following afternoon .. happy, tail wagging and waving. A fresh cow bone and new collar I bought for him. He's now being watched over like one of my own."

The video of him assaulting the dog owner, which gained 471,000 views in less than a day, has mixed reactions. "I understand his anger. I'll be damnnnn if someone treated my dog like that. But ... he still a person. I'm sure there was a better way to teach that lesson," one woman replied under his video on Twitter. "Instead of calling the police on him. You guys picked street justice. You guys just committed a criminal assault and posted [it] online," another pointed out.

Rodriguez then defended himself by sharing another video of the dog in the condition he had spotted the animal. "Anybody need reasoning for my actions ... This [is] how he brought the dog to me," the rapper wrote alongside the graphic video of the pitbull with a bloodied face. "I know many of you may not be happy with how I handled it but nevertheless I handled it," wrote the rapper, shortly after posting a confession from the dog owner he assaulted, that he captioned: "Here’s His Confession As Well .. I Realize On Twitter Yall Be Needing The Baccstory."

Twitter was left slightly appeased, as one person replied: "Felt slightly bad until I saw the condition of the dog. Dude deserved every second." Then Rodriguez shared a follow-up video of the dog where the pet can be seen healing, happy, and wagging his tail in excitement in full force. The joyous update seemed to pacify Twitter further, as one replied: "Y’all are Saints man. Legit. Is there somewhere to donate? Thank you for what you’re doing. Bless!"
