'Terrible sense of dread'

The user then explained a "terrible sense of dread" he felt while he was in Walmart when his mother died. He wrote, "Anyway, I was at Walmart at 7:00 PM Thursday looking for a charging cable for my Steam Deck so I could play on the airplane home, and all of a sudden I was overcome with this terrible sense of dread. I tried to ignore it. "

The user went on to add, "My mom didn't "die" die until two days later when they extubated her, but I know in my heart that her soul left her body at 7:00 on Thursday." He added, "And I'm not a superstitious guy by any means. But I've never felt anything like that."

'Death was standing right over me'

User 5tr4nGe then shared about their uncle's death in the thread. The user explained that they felt a similar eerie feeling when he was out "camping." They wrote, "I was out camping in the middle of nowhere. I had this sudden sense of overwhelming dread, the only way I can describe it was it felt like death was standing right over me." The user added, "I got back to civilisation the next day and received a phone call telling me that at the exact time I'd had that sense of dread my grandfather had died."
