A TikTok video about a tragic death on the MSC Seashore cruise ship has gone viral. In the video posted by the creator, a teenager reportedly committed suicide by jumping off the 16th deck floor of the ship, and died. The exact details are yet to be confirmed by authorities and it is claimed that the cruise line has an ongoing investigation into the incident.

On Wednesdy, December 22, TikToker @AutinHamawy posted a horrifying video showing the consequences of a 'man overboard' alert during the cruise. A loud siren is heard going off in the background as the announcement informs the people onboard about the sad demise of the teenager. Autin captioned the viral TikTok, "Sad to report last night on our cruise a 15-year-old fell from the 16th floor. He sadly did not make it.”

The video has received over 10 million views in less than 24 hours after being posted. With 1 million likes, and almost 10,000 comments, the video was shared multiple times. The comments mostly asked for updates, while some of his followers asked for an explanation about what had happened.

The TikToker posted a follow-up video sometime later and in the captioned for this second video, he wrote: "Sadly the guy that jumped off did not make it. He was from deck 16. It was a 15-year-old and he actually hit deck 8 and not the water. So obviously, I believe he was dead on contact. My prayers go out to him and his family."

This incident occured on the MSC Seashore cruise ship. The 15-year old jumped from the balcony of Deck 16 and his head hit Deck 8 before he fell into the water. At around 7:30 pm on Wednesday, the 'man aboard' alarm went off and the on-duty Captain advised all passengers on board to return to their starerooms and keep all public spaces empty. The ship officials said, "We  immediately notified authorities while the care team assisted the child’s family onboard." MSC said, "All of us at MSC Cruises are heartbroken. The family remains in our thoughts and prayers. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be discussing any additional details.” This is still an ongoing investigation and more details will be revealed later.
