SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: A man was shocked to discover a woman residing in his attic after hearing unusual noises in his home in Green Lake, Washington. Davis Wahlman made the startling discovery after he heard a rustling noise from the roof and went to investigate.

When he knocked on his attic door, he was stunned to find it locked. Wahlman noticed that a light was on in the office while he sat there trying to figure out what was going on. He knocked on the locked door but received no response, but later on found a total stranger on his premises.

'Jimmy? Is that you, Jimmy?'

Then he tried to find something to shield himself before knocking on the door once more. He was even more shocked when a woman shouted out to him. She uttered, "Jimmy? Is that you, Jimmy?" Wahlman was met by a total stranger when the door was opened, according to KOMO - a dark-haired woman carrying a knapsack while also sporting gym trousers and a tracksuit-style jacket.

'I've been here for three days'

When Wahlman questioned her about who she was and why she was at his house, she told him it was actually her house. Wahlman said the woman told her, "This is my house. I live here. I've been here for three days. Jimmy said I could live here, Jimmy said I could stay here." He tried to keep the woman engaged until the police arrived after calling them as soon as he first heard her; but he alleges they took too long and she escaped, as reported by Dailystar.

He said, "I absolutely support the cops, I love the police officers and I'm really happy they did show up, but as I'm telling someone on dispatch that there's someone in my house, 'Hey, please bring help' and it took 18 minutes – that's a little disappointing."

'Clearly being lived in that's bold'

Police reject this and assert that they arrived six minutes after the call. Wahlman claimed that he was unaware of how the woman entered his house. But his bathroom had a window screen, and his fire escape ladder was dangling from the deck. Although nothing was taken, he did mention that his locks had been altered. He said, "To come into a house like this, in this neighborhood, that's clearly being lived in that's bold," as per reports.
