'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7: June Shannon blindsides Justin Stroud as she ditches her husband in house hunting decision
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 star Mama June Shannon recently decided to move out of her Alabama rental property and went on a search for a new house in Georgia without any consultation with her husband, Justin Stroud. In the preview of the upcoming episode, Just was left blindsided by June and felt that his opinion didn't matter.
In the preview, June and Justin alongside Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell rode back to their rental property. The reality star told Justin that her other daughter, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efrid had suggested the family accelerate the planning process as Anna's terminal cancer got worse. She shared, "I understand that Pumpkin wants Anna to get all of her affairs in order and so do I, but with her just now finishing chemo, I don't think this is a good time to bring up like, 'Hey, we need to do this. Hey, we need to do that. Hey, we need to do this.' It's a lot."
Anna and her husband, Eldridge Toney, as well as, her daughters, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison, recently moved in with June's rental property. The place was small and hard to accommodate the whole family. June has been hunting for a new house and discussed about their living arrangements. The couple were looking for a house in Georgia to be closer to her children and they had just two days to decide whether to renew the lease or leave their Alabama property.
In the clip, June shared her decision to not renew the lease on their property in Alabama which left Justin disappointed. Visibly frustrated Justin reminded June that they don't have a home in Georgia, and her decision could leave them homeless. He said, "You just don't make decisions on your own about like what house we're gonna live in, June." Justin furiously asked, "When was you really gonna tell me this?"
However, June claimed that she was busy with Anna's cancer treatment and wasn't able to inform Justin. He told June, "It doesn't look like my opinion matters, period," Justin says. "You make decisions about houses by yourself."
