'Mama June: Family Crisis': June Shannon criticized for dining at expensive restaurant amid Coogan account drama
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' star Mama June Shannon has been facing internet backlash after claiming to have spent all of her daughter Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson's earnings. The criticism continued in the comment section of the WEtv show star's latest video.
June went shopping with her husband, Justin Stroud, and granddaughters, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison. Following the shopping trip, June, her husband, his mother, and her granddaughters enjoyed dinner at an upscale restaurant.
She shared in the caption, "Come eat lunch with us at @Cracker Barrel in Lagrange." However, the social media users called out June for always eating out and accused her of buying things from her daughter's money.
June recently claimed that she had saved only $33,000 from 'The Masked Singer', 'Dancing with the Stars Juniors', and Honey Boo Boo's appearances on the other shows. She claimed that she had spent the money on the family trips and their house. However, Honey Boo Boo believed that there should be 'at least six figures' on her Coogan Account.
Meanwhile, a social media user commented, "Do you ever cook." Another person added, "I can't tell anymore but dang if she isn't always slurping on something, its disgusting." Another critic noted, "Here again spending Honey Boo Boos money on food and things she don't need." One user wrote, "June no eating out... pay Honey Boo back that money girl."
Another TikTok user stated, "Eat at home so you got money to help Alana with College." Another follower wrote, "Another meal on Alana’s dime." One person posted, "The nerve to take and feed another family when you don’t take care of yours!"

Mama June claps back at Kailyn Lowry's rant about mishandling money
Mama June recently fired back at 'Teen Mom' star Kailyn Lowry after Lowry criticized her handling of Honey Boo Boo's earnings. Kailyn shared a video and questioned June's financial situation, "How are you able to spend 12 or 13 years worth of money when you are getting your own money?"
She added, "Mama June has multiple kids, so even if she’s taking a percentage of her kids money as, you know, a 'management fee' or whatever, to spend all of it is absolutely f*****g insane." However, June took to her TikTok and responded to Kailyn's rant. The WETV show star explained, "the truth behind Alana's money."
June claimed that neither she nor Honey Boo Boo was compensated in 2011 when they first appeared on 'Toddlers and Tiaras'. She further asserted that TLC only covered Honey Boo Boo's pageant entry fees.
June continued to explain that there was “never any mention” of Coogan Accounts when the family signed a contract with TLC for their spinoff, 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo'. June insisted that the money the family earned from the spin-off was used to cover family expenses.
Mama June's husband Justin Stroud accused of faking a tax return
Mama June Shannon has been at the center of controversy after admitting to misappropriating her daughter Honey Boo Boo's earnings, asserting that most of the funds were used for tax filings. However, June's husband, Justin Stroud, entered the fray to support his wife, but his involvement appeared to backfire.
Justin recently went live on TikTok, showcasing his 2022 tax documents where he claimed to have earned $126,000 in the previous year. June confirmed her husband's financial independence and integrity. However, the video sparked doubts among the viewers and they questioned the couple's transparency and trustworthiness.
Justin hid several details on the document to protect his online identity, but viewers speculated that he was concealing explosive details. Additionally, some viewers alleged that Justin was fabricating the tax returns.
