'MAFS' Season 17 alum Chloe Brown furious after Lauren Good pursues romance with ex-husband Michael Shiakallis
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Chloe Brown recently criticized her co-star Lauren Good after she tried to pursue a romance with her ex-husband Michael Shiakallis. During the 'Where Are They Now' special, Chloe claimed that Lauren tried to investigate Michael following their divorce.
Chloe and Michael parted ways during Decision Day but maintained their friendship without any animosity. However, Lifetime show viewers have consistently suggested that the experts should have paired Lauren with Michael, believing they could have been a perfect match from the start.
Chloe stated that Lauren had considered the viewers' comments and attempted to explore her friendship with Michael. Chloe also admitted that she felt 'hurt' after she got to know about Lauren's intention. However, Michael made it clear that he had no interest in Lauren.
Lauren Good flirts with Michael Shiakallis
Lauren Good met Michael Shiakallis to further explore their connection a bit more. The duo got a bit flirty and Michael also gifted Lauren a beautiful pair of earrings. During the episode, Michale shared, "You know the internet has been willing this, they have been willing this interaction." Lauren agreed and noted, "My friends always poke fun at me about the whole being rematched [thing]. [They say], 'Why didn’t they just match you with Lauren?'"
Lauren then claimed that her loved ones have also made similar comments. She said, "My family in the beginning, definitely in the earlier episodes, especially the matchmaking type of phase, they were like, 'So, why wasn't Michael your match?' I've had family members that were like, 'I feel like just objectively viewing this, Michael [should've been your match].'"
'MAFS' star Chloe Brown cut ties with Lauren Good
After Lauren Good and Michael Shiakallis's flirty meeting, the 'MAFS' alum revealed in a self-recorded video that she and Chloe are no longer friends. Lauren explained in the video, "She became very irate when I followed Michael on social media."
The Lifetime show star elaborated, "I apologized. I removed him from following me. I unfollowed him but she said that it didn't matter because I was the ultimate betrayal for following home on social media." Lauren continued, "And I don't know, I just think the whole thing is petty, because I've known Michael kind of longer than I've known you, or at least I met him before you."
Lauren also shared, "And she is friends with Austin, and thinks there's nothing wrong with her being friends with Austin but wants to block me from having friendship with Michael."
