'MAFS' Season 14: Alyssa Ellman slammed for gaslighting Chris Collette after wedding

'As far as I take it Alyssa disrespecting Chris' tweeted a fan

For the couples of 'Married At First Sight', instant attraction is not always a given. And more often than not, that first impression can prove to be quite the deal-breaker. While judging a person on their looks alone is shallow, people usually tend to do so. And it looks like Season 14's Alyssa might have written Chris off a little too soon.

On Season 12 of the show, fans saw drama due to the way Chris Williams treated his wife Paige Banks, based on her looks. It looks like now, Alyssa might be doing the same to Chris. Alyssa argued that something his friends said at the reception rubbed her the wrong way, but no matter what Chris does or says, she now has no intention to get to know him.

While Chris sat down to meet Alyssa's mother, Josie and her friend Taylor, he was honest and open that there might be some issues regarding communication between them. Josie, who had taken a liking to her son-in-law, encouraged him to try, even though Alyssa can be set in her ways. Her friend echoed the same sentiment. However, throughout the episode, Alyssa had no intention of getting to know Chris.

"Also alyssa hates that man lol he can’t even be eager to spend time with her without her being annoyed … lol i don’t even see them moving in together she can’t stand him  #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" noted a fan. "Why did they pick Alyssa???? She is such a prude. Chris deserves better. They need to start picking backup people for this type of stuff. So sad. Is it the teeth thing? Really? When Chris later spoke to her about their issues, Alyssa was livid that he had brought up their problems to her mother and friend, repeatedly claiming that he disrespected her. Fans were convinced it was the other way around and agreed with Chris when he mentioned that he felt like he was being gaslighted.
