NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Mackinley Gilbert is wondering where "things go from here" following a disagreement with Domynique Calarco over commitment issues. Meanwhile, 'Married at First Sight' viewers seemed choose sides based on reasoning.

Season 16 of 'MAFS' continues on Lifetime, and in the latest episode, "Jamaican Me Crazy," the couples begin the everyday stresses of newlywed life. The honeymoon is far from over, but the newlyweds enter domestic life with great aspirations after returning to Nashville and living in an apartment together for the first time. Although Mackinley and Domynique have had some trouble getting along, they have settled on a 7.5/10 rating for their current relationship. But what happens when they have to choose a place to live?

Domynique questions Mackinley's decision-making skills

Domynique and Mackinley may not agree on their future residence. In this week's episode of 'MAFS,' the newlyweds had a heated discussion regarding Mackinley's present living circumstances. Domynique has expressed concern about Mackinley's capacity to commit, since he has been hesitant to establish firm roots in Tennessee.

"I feel like I made a smart decision by not jumping into a new house or apartment when I was going through this process," Mack says of his present living arrangement. "I wasn't sure what area I wanted to be in."

Domynique is forthright about how this seems to her as a new wife. "Taking everything into consideration — like how you moved from Michigan to California and then California to Nashville — you know, you don't have any ties," she remarked.

"You've still... got that free-roamer option," she adds. "That also is going through my mind a little bit. For me, it's like, I don't really have any plan to move from Nashville. The fact that you're not 100 percent tied to this place…"

Mackinley tries to smooth things up as Domynique drifts off, all while affirming his wife's fears. "All I can say is I came down here with the intent of moving here and making sure I liked it. I wanted to not jump into a place just to jump into a place," he replies.

Domynique questioned Mackinley's decision-making abilities further, given that the couple had recently married sight unseen. "But, like, jump into a marriage though?" she queried. "You were apprehensive about signing a lease, but you're jumping into a marriage."

Domynique's point can't — and won't — be denied by Mackinley. He expresses some anxiety to the cameras regarding their ability to get on the same page. "I was upfront from the get about my living situation. Now it's this big thing, and clearly a big deal to her," he claims. "I don't know where things go from here."

'Domynique does nothing but complain'

A fan noted, "Domynique is mad annoying. She talks to Mackinley like she’s more “mature” but in actuality she sounds dumb…" Another person added, "Domynique is the one that complains too much." Siding with Mackinley a fan wrote, "Domynique does nothing but complain and criticize. He would have been signing a lease just to break it if y’all both say yes on decision day. He relocated. Let it tf go." While sympathizing with Mackinley, a fan writes, "Mackhinly betta have a ton of money saved up...cause Then on the other hand, he can't seem to do anything right for Dominique sooo."

Making Dom realize that she is indeed in a good situation, a fan wrote, "Dom shouldn't overreact. It's a GOOD thing that he doesn't have a lease somewhere and a ton of stuff. Easy to make a fresh start with her. Not a bad thing at all." Another fan added, "Dominique is harping on the wrong things! She a little too immature for marriage. It's not like he can't afford a place but he just moved out of state and it actually free’s him up to start a new lease in his marriage." Frustrated fans also wrote, "Dom and Mack... Just go ahead and have yalls decision day now." Another Mackinley supporter wrote, "I wouldn't buy a house there either if I were McKinley. I don't know if this marriage is going to work out or not."
