Madison Beer tried to kill herself at 15 after her nudes were leaked on Snapchat
Madison Beer tried to kill herself at the age of 15. The singer revealed her traumatic experience during the April 19, 2023 episode of 'Call Her Daddy' podcast with host Alex Cooper. Talking about the incident, she said that as a teenager a sexually explicit clip of her surfaced online after she sent it to someone close to her. Madison claimed that as her music career took off, she began messaging a boy she admired from her hometown.
Madison had been using Snapchat at the time, and she had sent videos of herself to her previous crush, believing that they would be deleted shortly after being delivered. She later finds out that her video was leaked on the internet. Madison went into "crisis mode" after the videos were shared on Twitter, Vine, and other platforms. Madison also attempted to contact the individual to whom she gave the videos, but they promptly blocked her. She went on by saying that "I'm just sitting here typing my name in quotations on Twitter to see what people are saying about me."

During the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, the singer said, "I've attempted to over this life." “I did attempt twice. I’m really grateful that I was obviously unsuccessful but I think people need to understand that it’s really serious and not something to joke about. My life was almost over. I almost died. I almost was dead because of all of this.” She also added that "It stayed with me so vividly that if I get a call in the middle of the night, I'm 15 again," she explained. "And now I'm in my room, finding out that this video is out there, and it's really scary." Madison Beer recalls contemplating suicide on the balcony and being seen by her brother in her upcoming memoir.
Justin Bieber spotted Beer's talent
