Madeline Kingsbury: Missing Minnesota mom-of-2 planned to move out of ex's home before disappearing
WINONA, MINNESOTA: A Minnesota mother of two, who was reported missing two weeks ago, looked for a new home to live in as she planned to move out of the place she shared with her ex before her disappearance, according to family. Madeline "Maddi" Kingsbury of Winnona was last seen on March 31. On the day of her mysterious disappearance, she and the father of her young children aged five and two returned home together after they dropped them at daycare.
According to investigators, the 26-year-old woman's disappearance appeared to be "involuntary" and "suspicious." Megan Kingsbury, sister of Madeline identified her ex-partner as Adam Fravel. Megan revealed that even though they lived together in the home with their two children, the two were no longer in a romantic relationship and the missing woman was planning to move out, reported People.

'A waking nightmare with no respite'
With plans to co-parent with Fravel, Madeline wanted to find a place to live in the Winona area. "There were definitely alarm bells going off because it was so unlike her," said Megan. The woman who worked at Mayo Clinic did not report to her job that day and did not pick up her children from daycare. Through the Winona police, a statement was shared by the Kingsbury family on Wednesday as they called the search for Madeline "a waking nightmare with no respite."
"[We] have to think that the only thing that could come close to what we experience is the stress of combat, day after awful day. We will find Madeline. This is our mission and we will not falter," the statement added.
Fravel denied being involved in Madeline's missing
Madeline's ex-partner Fravel denied being involved in her disappearance. The investigation into her missing is still underway and cops have not named Fravel or anybody else as a person of interest or suspect, reported CNN. Talking about the missing mom, Fravel said, "I did not have anything to do with Maddi's disappearance. I want the mother of my 5-year-old and 2-year-old to be found and brought home safely. I want that more than anything." As he has no custodial rights over their children, they currently remain in state custody and are in a "safe place," according to Megan.
