LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Madeleine McCann's parents "deserve an apology" from Julia Wandelt and Fia Johannson after the DNA results confirmed that she was not the missing British toddler, claimed TikTok reporter Chris Chandler, who first interviewed the 21-year-old Polish woman. Johannson, the private investigator, who helped Wandelt in her case, revealed on April 4 that the DNA tests confirmed that she was not the missing child, and instead, she was from Poland with some Lithuanian and Romanian ancestry. Wandelt also uses the surnames Wendell and Faustyna.

“She is absolutely 100 percent from Poland,” Johansson told RadarOnline, adding, “She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish.” Reflecting on the test results, Chandler, a freelance TikTok reporter from London, said that Wandelt should apologize to McCann's parents, Kate and Gerry. "I do feel she needs to say something soon though now we know Julia is Julia. How long has the Persian medium suspected this and do the McCanns deserve an apology at the least?" Chandler told the Daily Star.

Julia Wandelt: Woman who claims she's Madeleine McCann won't return to family regardless of DNA results

'She is lying'

Chandler reportedly said that Wandelt and Johansson's claims caused unnecessary suffering to the McCann family. The freelance reporter, who runs ‘Newsrundownwithchris’ on Tiktok and has almost 10 million likes, interviewed Wandelt before Johannson took her under her wing. He previously claimed that Wandelt's claim of being McCann was a hoax to further her singing career. “There’s two sides, either she believes she’s Madeleine McCann and is the real deal and I’ve been miraculously wrong over the last week, or she is Madeleine - and oh my goodness what a massive story that would be,” Chandler reportedly claimed.

Chandler continued, “Perhaps this is just to do with her music career because I find it very, very suspicious because the family is saying that she is lying, it’s a hoax, and that she wants to become a singer, and then all of a sudden she’s doing karaoke on Instagram and she’s written 72 songs!” adding, “Every time something comes out it’s posted on her [Johannson] Instagram story. As Julia was leaving for Poland she [Johansson] said to her ‘What would you like to say to your fans and followers?'"

'I knew Julia wasn't Madeleine'

After the DNA tests arrived, Johannson stopped working on Wandelt’s case. She also told The Mirror that she knew Wandelt wasn't McCann when she flew to Poland with her. “The case was always very sensitive. I have always believed Madeleine is alive, but when I flew out to Poland, I knew Julia wasn't Madeleine. I knew all of the disorders Julia had. She was immature and couldn't recognize who she was. She needed to get closure,” Johansson reportedly claimed.
