'Love is Blind' Season 6 Finale: Why did Jimmy Presnell say 'no' to Chelsea Blackwell? Netflix star left shattered after rejection
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: In the 'Love is Blind' Season 6 finale, Chelsea Blackwell confessed that she could envision marrying Jimmy Presnell. To her surprise, however, her fiancé was not ready for the same commitment.
Jimmy told Chelsea, "I love you to death, and I want a relationship with you. I want us to work so bad, but I don't want to go to the altar."
Emotionally overwhelmed, Chelsea struggled to comprehend the sudden rejection. Jimmy believed that he was not ready to walk down the aisle with Chelsea after their last fight, as he was taken aback by it. Chelsea lashed out, saying, "I feel like you've known you were going to say no this entire time, and you just wasted my time."
Jimmy believes his relationship had "5 or 6 really big issues" that hit him and hurt his feelings, making him take a step back. A significant setback for Jimmy occurred when Chelsea discussed his relationship with one of her close girlfriends on camera.
He said, "I told you in confidence about one of my friends that I had a prior relationship with, and you threw that in my face. You disrespected her. You disrespected me."

Jimmy voiced his apprehension regarding Chelsea bringing up his relationship with his best friend on camera. He clarified, "It isn't about my reputation. I don't care about that. It's hers that I care about."
Concerned about his friend's image, Jimmy said, "That's messed up for any future guy that she has anything with..." Chelsea interrupted Jimmy, saying, "I'm sorry you guys had a little secret love triangle."
Jimmy believed he had shared his personal life information with Chelsea, thinking she would keep it a secret and understand it. However, seeing her reveal it on national TV made him "reluctant" to share anything further.

It is not yet confirmed whether Chelsea and Jimmy are still in a relationship. However, Jimmy's recent post hints that they might be making their relationship work outside the show.
Amid all the trolls, Jimmy took some time out to support Chelsea and uploaded a picture of them kissing. He wrote, "proof I kiss Chels." He added, "On a real note, Chelsea is an amazing person and loves so hard. Due to time, much of the full story so far wasn’t shown. There are reasons we are both fighting for each other and sticking to our promise."
He continued to defend Chelsea, saying, "It’s easy to make assumptions off snippets of our relationship, but I wanted y’all to be easy on my girl. At the end of the day, we are all human, and it took a lot of courage for every one of us to put ourselves out there to find our person."
Feeling grateful for Jimmy taking her side, Chelsea commented, "My lil heart ❤ forever grateful." The Reunion episode will further reveal whether Chelsea and Jimmy are still together or not.
