Chelsea Blackwell revealed going to therapy after filming 'Love is Blind' Season 6

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Love is Blind' Season 6 star Chelsea Blackwell was seen self-sabotaging her relationship over trivial matters. She fell into a messy feud with fiance Jimmy Presnell after being left jealous of his girl best friends. This led many to wonder whether the star has "deep-rooted insecurities."

In a previous episode, Chelsea candidly disclosed her past experiences of being cheated on by her partners. As a result, she struggles to trust her fiance, and her frustration intensifies when he attends social gatherings with friends without involving her. Following the show, Chelsea pursued therapy to achieve the mental stability she sought.

A fan posted on X saying, "There's something seriously wrong with Chelsea. Now Jimmy can't go out for an hour and she doesn't want to be with someone that goes out every once in a while?? If a man said this." Another claimed, "wait….this fight is because chelsea doesn’t want jimmy to go out even like once a week? #LoveIsBlind he was literally making an appearance at his friends bday and came right back."

Another called out the star, "Chelsea is needy and insecure for that reason, she sabotaged the relationship." Another claimed, "Deep rooted insecurities will always bring out the worst in a relationship and I hate how Chelsea is letting herself be down bad like this. I wish her healing and peace."

One mocked, "Someone needs to offer Chelsea some therapy I know she got good insurance being a flight attendant." "Chelsea is soooooo annoying omg," wrote another fan.

Was Chelsea Blackwell in therapy after filming 'Love is Blind' Season 6?

Chelsea revealed on social media that she sought therapy after filming 'Love is Blind' Season 6. She addressed a question on Instagram asked by one of her followers, "After the 'Love is Blind' experience, have you sought out therapy?"  Chelsea replied, "Absolutely."

According to a report in People, she went on to claim, "The show was very accommodating in helping me not only find a therapist but cover the fees." She added, "I've never seeked a therapist before but man oh man, I feel everyone could benefit from having an unbiased opinion."

Chelsea recognizes that she grapples with a "ton of issues," yet she had never considered the need for a therapist. However, following her experience with therapy, Chelsea said, "I thought I loved myself before but I have never felt THIS kind of love."

Chelsea Blackwell believes she was not accurately portrayed in 'Love is Blind' Season 6

Chelsea was asked by one of her followers whether she believes she was accurately portrayed on the show. The follower questioned, "Do you feel as if you were accurately portrayed on the show?"

Chelsea responded stating that "so much hasn't been shown" on the show. Chelsea accepts that she has been "emotional and insecure" but the producers molded the storyline as per their fit. She said, "There's a ton of footage and they created our storyline they saw fit."

Chelsea ended her post, claiming, "But my feelings were valid and I wish that was included more. But that's show biz baby."
