'It's 'hard to win': 'Love is Blind: After the Altar' star Cole accuses Zanab of 'twisting' words, dubs her 'sensitive'
DALLAS, TEXAS: 'Love is Blind: After the Altar' Season 3 just dropped on Netflix. We saw some of the couples trying to maintain a friendly relationship despite their broken marriage. However, Cole Barnett and Zanab Jaffrey are not among them. Cole was seen accusing Zanab of "twisting" his words in the recently released episodes of Netflix's dating drama.
Cole has learned hard way that he should be more careful with his words. In 'Love is Blind' Season 3 we saw him getting rejected by Zanab in the most heartbreaking way. Zanab walked out of the altar accusing Cole of body shaming her by passing comments on her food habits. However, in the recently released episodes of 'Love is Blind: After the Altar' Season 3, we saw both of them once again landing in the awkward situations of facing each other. Well, this time Cole tried to turn around his tainted personality by breaking the ice with Zanab.

Cole Barnett accuses Zanab Jaffrey of 'twisting' his words
In the recently released episode, we saw Cole trying to break the ice with Zanab. During Alexa's birthday party, we saw him making the first move by asking Zanab, "Hi Zay, I wanted to come to break the ice and just say hey." He further asked Zanab, "Do you wanna talk?" After getting Zanab's approval they went to a quiet place to have a talk. While in the personal interview when probably being asked by the producers what would he like to change if got the chance, Cole claimed, "I would change... a lot of things. I don't know." After his last experience, he claimed that this time he needs to be "more careful with his words" if he is around someone who is sensitive, referring to Zanab. He further went on to indirectly slam Zanab by saying, "It's hard to win when you're with someone who twists everything you say and you can't be yourself even whenever you are not trying to hurt them."
Cole still couldn't make sense of Zanab's rejection
While having a clarification talk with Zanab in the recently released episode, Cole claimed to still be confused wondering why did Zanab reject him at the altar. He said, "I couldn't make sense of it (the rejection)." He explained, "on the one hand, I thought she was about to say yes to me. Because, you know beforehand you were a thousand percent ready to marry me, and we were making love and everything seemed really good." He continued explaining that Zanab's rejection never made sense to him because in his mind he thought she loved him but couldn't understand why she loved him if she left he was not the one for him.
Zanab claimed in the recently released episode that she still thinks Cole was 1000% bad to her. However, at the same time, she explained that she does not think Cole is a bad person in general. She said, "I think you'll be wonderful to the woman you want to be wonderful to. It wasn't me." Listening to the positive things, Cole claimed that "it sounded like a big contradiction" to him. He wonders whether he was the one who Zanab loved or was he the one who Zanab thought was "manipulative and disrespectful." It seemed Cole was left confused by Zanab's reply at the end of the show. However, he tried his best to end carrying beef with Zanab.
Zanab and Cole made it pretty clear to each other that they don't have beef for each other.
