'Friends' fanatics, remember how Rachel Greene dated Russ to get over Ross Geller? John Slater may have pulled a similar stunt on 'Love After Lockup' when he introduced Julie, his new girlfriend, after writing a goodbye letter to ex Lacey Whitlow. 

But not before he blamed Lacey for making him the person he had become - the kind who'd do drugs and get involved in darker things. But he was ready to put all of that behind him, in the hope to start a new life with Julie.

Well if this sustains, then it'll serve well for not just John but also Lacey who is trying to start a family with husband Shane Whitlow. The couple is expecting a baby and they are thrilled to welcome the little member. Shane even hand-painted the crib. Clearly, there's a new picture that the duo is trying to put together and John leaving the equation will only make it beautiful. 

Will John return? Well, even if he does it did seem like Lacey was done with him for good given how he crushed his goodbye letter and trashed it in the bin. One could see she was in a happy space and looking forward to creating new memories. 

Meanwhile, fans seem convinced that John may not have moved on from Lacey. Not yet, at least because Julie looks and sounds like Lacey. This photo shared by TV Soap Videos is proof. Some even said that she looked high and someone who could be using drugs. "julie is just the wish version of lacey. john has a type," a user commented on Reddit, to which another responded: "Chawns date looks like Lacey and talks like Lacey! But... I think she is high." "Julie has that same baby voice and disheveled look that Lacey has. Horrible azz weave! 'Love After Lockup' Season 3 finale aired on WE tv on March 12, Friday at 9/8c.
