More about Louis Tomlinson's movie
In the past, the prospects of Tomlinson's grand Hollywood debut remained undone due to his loyalty towards his band, which broke up just a year later in 2016.
According to the latest reports by Mirror, Los Angeles-based screenwriter Adrian Butchart has planned a football film based on the life of Leicester City football star Jamie Vardy. Butchart is recognized for his first two football films in the 'Goal' series.
His upcoming film will document his remarkable journey from a non-league factory worker to Premier League title winner. The project was originally planned long back, but got delayed due to the worldwide pandemic. However, Butchart only has reasons to rejoice since Vardy led his team to win the FA Cup in the meantime, which has now become an integral part of the storyline.
Butchart is considering top actors like Zac Effron and Robert Pattinson to essay the role of Vardy. But, Louis Tomlinson is also one of his leading choices. Tomlinson has already impressed football fans with his skills after he played for the Doncaster Rovers in a charity football game. His brilliant skills even led the football club to officially extend an offer to him to join the team on non-contract terms. He has played in multiple football matches including making his debut for Doncaster in 2014 in a game against Rotherham United.
It is little known to many that in 2006, Tomlinson did star in a blink-and-miss role in the British crime drama film 'If I Had You'. His nameless role was designated as 'boy finding body'.
