What are Nielsen's claims against Cuomo's team?

In the tell-all post which Nielsen shared on her Twitter and Facebook accounts, she revealed that she would receive many late-night phone calls from Cuomo's administration. The officials would constantly threaten to call her boss and stop her from reporting investigative stories. ".....the incessant bullying to try and get me to stop doing my job and reporting specific stories... it would never end," she alleged in the post.

Nielsen also added that the team used their "tactics" so diplomatically that "they skimmed the line of inappropriateness ever so delicately as to make you feel like they were acceptable." In her post, she lauded the people who have come forward with their complaints of alleged harassment against Cuomo and his team.

"It was during one of the many accusatory and threatening phone calls I received by his staff members that I realized this behavior was never going to stop," she remarked, adding that it was after this incident that she decided to resign from her job.

Nielsen's post garnered a lot of support on social media as users praised her courage to come forward and stand in solidarity with other survivors of Cuomo's alleged abuse.

"Thank you. I’ve been dealing w/terrible NY Agency backlash speaking out trying to protect my children from Cuomo’s mishandled toxic waste dumped next to our home, and Into protected wetlands in Catskill NY. His corruption runs deep, and aggressions severe. This is Cuomo!" — wrote one user in support of Nielsen.

"I applaud your courage Lindsay! Stay strong and keep loved ones around you. And don’t let anybody outside of your inner circle in especially now. And remember to use your CELL PHONE AS A TOOL to video, record or take pictures of those that are harassing you! Stay safe!" - tweeted another user.

"So sorry for how you have been treated. You (and all victims) have support even if it is not always apparent. I don’t care about the politics of it, only about people like you. Stay strong," commented another user.

Cuomo or anyone from his team is yet to respond to Nielsen's allegations.
