She currently has more than 50 tattoos on her head, face, breasts, and buttocks. She even had horns implanted beneath her skin and a silicone ring placed on her chest, and has the goal of splitting her tongue in half. She also has other, more normal body mods like breast implants, nose surgery and piercings along with visually striking changes like expanded ear lobes, and a shaved, bald head to complete her cyborg look.
She's now on her way to becoming a full-fledged tattoo artist, and has been practising on her roommate, Lee, according to one recent interview. "Today I'm going to tattoo my roommate Lee. I'm feeling so excited and nervous because I've only been tattooing as an apprentice. In the few weeks we've been living together, I for sure want to do a good job otherwise she's going to kill me."
Lina admitted that she was dissatisfied with herself and her appearance before getting tattooed, which launched her years-long metamorphosis. "I didn't like the way I looked in the mirror and I needed to change in order to feel better about myself," she said.
She continued, "I didn't like the way I looked in the mirror and I needed to change in order to feel better about myself. My first and one of my biggest transformations was definitely my weight loss a couple years back. I lost over 50 pounds, changed my diet, hit the gym hard." She added, “It’s like a switch that flipped in my head. I understood that the only way to truly become whoever you want to be if you work towards it - every single day.”
She claims that her family is gradually warming to her new look, and that she would not change who she is now. "There are always going to be haters no matter what you do," she said. "There are people who are going to say I disfigured myself or that I must have mental issues. It doesn't really touch me at all. For the future, I hope that I will keep being successful with my modelling, getting to do pictures on people for a living."
