Lil Nas X trolls Drake with 'Montero' album art, fans say ‘make up your own ideas’
Lil Nas X never leaves an opportunity when it comes to trolling other artists and keeping in mind the same, the singer, rapper and songwriter decided to poke fun at Drake’s newly announced cover art for his sixth studio effort ‘Certified Lover Boy’ aka CLB. The ‘Industry Baby’ hitmaker was trending all over the Internet after he shared his version of CLB’s album art.
Drake’s art for his project ‘Certified Lover Boy’ features multiple emoticons of pregnant women in different complexions. The Toronto rap icon had shared the cover art on August 30 and his album will be up for streaming on September 3. Lil Nas X, who will also be releasing his debut album in the same month- September 17 to be specific, twisted the cover art and shared it as an announcement for his debut project titled ‘Montero.’ Social media users were left amused with the creativity of Lil Nas X as they took to Twitter to speak about the same.

While having fun with the cover art of Drake’s album, Lil Nas X shared his version on his Twitter and Instagram accounts respectively. While Drake’s cover art featured pregnant women, the pop icon’s version came with multiple images of pregnant men in different complexions. He captioned the post, ““MONTERO” THE ALBUM. OUT SEPTEMBER 17, 2021.”
Lil Nas X, recently made headlines for slamming the trolls over his blood-infused customized Nike sneakers after skateboarding icon Tony Hawk came up with his line of blood-infused skateboards. Lil Nas had stated that there was no uproar when Hawk introduced his line whereas, he was brutally dragged for the same. “Now that tony hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason?” On the work front, Lil Nas had recently shared a teaser for his debut album saying, “Creating this album has been therapy for me. I’ve learned to let go of trying to control people’s perception of who I am, what I can do, and where I will be. I’ve realized the only opinion of me that really matters is my own.”

Social media users logged into Twitter to speak about Lil Nas X giving a twist to Drake’s CLB cover art. One user posted, “Both lil nas x and drake are trippin dude.” Whereas, one person said, “It’s kinda crazy that between ye & drake, lil nas x is finna have the best album.” Another user added, “If Drake is really using that pregnant emoji collage as his album cover, so should Lil Nas X. They’re both hilarious covers.”
