'Legacies' Season 2 Fall Finale: Landon and Hope may be back together but 'Hosie' fans are not happy about it

There are fans who are upset that Landon and Hope got back together -- after all, many were hoping that Hope and Josie would be a thing in this season.

In the fall finale of the second season of 'Legacies' that aired this week, Landon broke up with Josie -- despite telling her that she is perfect -- with the episode ending in a kiss between Landon and Hope as the two told each other that they loved them.

Of course, this was a moment most fans have been waiting for. Many did not like the pairing of Landon Kirby and Josie Saltzman, though 'Jandon' did have its fans. However, whatever you may feel about that pairing, the scene where Landon breaks up with her is possibly one of the saddest in the series.

However, there are fans who are upset that Landon and Hope got back together -- after all, many were hoping that Hope and Josie would be a thing in this season. Last season, we learned that Josie used to have a crush on Hope and we learned in this season that Hope used to have a crush on Josie as well. One fan wrote, "I love #Legacies but I'm tired of it only being theoretically inclusive. There's been so much heterosexuality this season, give us some [same sex] couples please @LegaciesW."

Viewers were especially upset with Landon and many feel that he is too bland a character to be part of such a love triangle. One fan wrote, "he literally told Josie she was perfect then left her there heartbroken. Landon Kirby has no rights #legacies." Another fan tweeted, "Landon is so freaking boring and everything on the show revolves around him. That needs to stop. Kaleb is funny, interesting, & needs a bigger role in the show. Hope & Kaleb leading duo would be killer. So put Landon’s boring ass on the back burner & #MakeKalebHeadBoy #Legacies."

Of course, fans also picked up on the chemistry between Hope and Clarke -- something they have noticed since the first season's finale and the second season's premiere. Clarke and Hope had a touching talk in the final moments of the episode. One fan wrote, "Might be an unpopular opinion but I love Clark's character in #legacies his phone call with hope made me cry. He just wanted to be loved by his father." Another asked, "Why is there so much chemistry between Hope and Clarke?? #legacies@cwlegacies."

'Legacies' will return with new episodes to The CW on January 16th, 2020.
